“Slowly raising his hand, he gently ran his long fingers over the witch's cheek, wet with tears.
The contrast of their skin looked mesmerizing.
Her skin was so warm and tender. The blush turned her a deep pink. The witch squeezed her big eyes shut. Out of the corner of his eye, Draco saw her loosen her grip on the sheets.
Just as slowly, so as not to scare her off, Malfoy bent down to her disheveled hair and inhaled the delicate fragrance. She smelled like a newly opened rose. Charming, attractive, gentle and a little sweet.
"Tell me your name," he whispered into her hair.
Quietly, but firmly, the witch replied: "Hermione."

“What do you say, Granger? Be my fake girlfriend this year and I’ll see that you win this competition. The Mastery of your dreams is right at your fingertips.”
Or, Hermione enters a (reluctant) partnership with Draco to win a Potions Mastery competition while he evades the betrothal arranged by his parents.

You know something that I love about when it's just you and me working a case? We can just sit together, you know? Just... quietly with our thoughts. So, I'm thinking... why don't you and I just sit here now, together... quietly and you can know that you're okay.

I was watching a french documentary following the police unit dealing with child abuse cases.
At some point a 7 years old girl was interviewed by the police after she stated that her 15 years old brother had anally raped her.
During the interrogation, the girl said she had lied about the rape. She explained that anytime her mother was out, her brother and his friends would watch pornography. Her brother would constantly harass her with it, flashing her with violent porn, talking and laughing about it, which had inspired her statement.
After saying all this, she and her mother were sent home as if nothing happened. The documentary's narrator then explained that the police would mark the girl's profile, informing all police officers that she had lied about being raped once, and that in future if she ever came to report a sexual assault she would probably not be taken seriously after being flagged as a self admitted liar.
I was absolutely stunned.
We're talking about a 7 years old girl. She was obviously trying to express her fear of being raped by her brother after he expressed an interest in violating women through his use of porn, but also an interest in violating his sister by imposing his perverted sexuality on her. As a child she was trying to understand and express the danger she was in, being sexually harassed and traumatized by her brother. She was detailing the content she had been subjected to, and identifying with the women she was shown. She was a victim of incest already and had assessed the danger of her situation very acutely. She said she had been raped because her brother's actions made her feel like she was being raped. Because she was being violated indeed. You don't need to be a child psychologist to understand that. This was a clear case of sexual abuse, not by a parent, but by an older sibling.
Yet because watching pornography is perceived as a normal activity for boys, a coming of age activity even, a mark of manhood, nothing came out of it. Not legally at least. "Oh well, no harm done!" "Boys being boys!"
And that's if she did lie about being raped. Which we can't be sure.
In any case, for trying to put her distress into words, she was punished for life. By a unit supposed to protect children. And this is yet another example of how trauma is used against girls and women to protect rapists.
