This is so important!! Please donate if you can!!
Yoooooooo
So the government just defunded PBS and NPR which is fucked. That being said, the public can cover the damage if we orginize and donate.
Only about $1.60 of tax dollars per US citizen per year are spent on the public broadcasting budget. NPR and PBS offer beong able to make small monthly donations, some being 7$ per month or lower if you want.
If you want to donate 1.60$ per month to your local station, you can multiply how much funding they get from you by 12. If you do their monthly donation of $7 per month, your donation can equal the tax dollars of 54 people spent on public broadcasting per year.
If you want to donate to your local station, look them up by your town here to make sure your local stations get helped specifically:

Y'know I've never liked Superman (I always felt he was overpowered and honestly kinda boring in the cartoons I used to watch) but I find it so funny that conservatives are man that the new movie is like accurate to his existence lmao
#myfandoms#superman#I mean I still don't really care for him but damn I will admit that the new movie gets him right

It's kinda sad how much of "modern slang" (mostly internet slang) for the past couple years has just been co-opted from AAVE and used without any respect to where it came from.

I hate to sound like a conservative but like. If you're a smoker or vaper, think of the fucking children. They shouldn't be allowed to touch that shit. My cousin has her five year old kid help her find her goddamn vape ALL THE TIME. I won't blame anyone for their addiction but if you let your five year old regularly interact with that tiny death box, you're the problem.
And!! Don't vape in a house with an elderly man who has lung problems?? He can barely breathe as it is and you're just casually vaping in HIS house. Fuck anyone who does this, addiction or not you're a problem.

Just peeked at the r/narccisticabuse and r/raisedbynarccists subreddits and to no ones surprise, the descriptions are kinda low-key ableist. Like:
[r/raisedbynarccists]
"This is a support group for people raised by abusive parents (with toxic, self-absorbed personality traits, which may be exhibited by those who suffer from cluster B personality disorders)."
Sounds fine until that last line, change the subreddit name and it would be a perfect place for those who were EMOTIONALLY, PSYCHOLOGICALLY, and/or PHYSICALLY abused by egocentric, self absorbed, and/or manipulative parents.
Of course, scroll down and you get this:
"Narcissists rarely seek treatment, so few of our parents have a formal diagnosis. We use the terms "narcissist" and "narcissistic" loosely to refer to a variety of conditions and abusive behaviors, and not in a clinical sense."
They do add: "It does not necessarily mean a diagnosis of narcissistic personality disorder. We are not professionals and cannot diagnose anybody."
But like it's still super fucking ableist?? Like yeah totally a personality disorder stemmed from abuse is totally allowed to become the face for abuse that ALREADY HAS A FUCKING NAME. But I digress. They have a post about discussion of narc kids not being allowed and call egotypical kids "normal" which yes is technically true but is still an ableist statement regardless.
They refuse to let people with cluster B personality disorders to post as well, claiming it may be triggering to other members. This is again very ableist, and what about if these people also have "narcissistic" parents? Why are they denied a place to discuss their trauma because their abuse led to developing a disorder?
[r/narccisticabuse]
Right off the bat I'll say it, narc abuse ain't real. A narcissist can be an abuser but so can anyone and the abuse they often describe is literally just emotional and psychological.
The description reads:
"This is a safe place for people who have suffered or are currently suffering from narcissistic abuse to seek support, learn, vent, discuss, document their abuse, and come together in their path towards healing."
Again, this would be great if it wasn't literally so ableist towards people with NPD. They also refer to narcissism as a personality trait that only becomes a disorder when you have "extreme levels". They call people narcs if they exhibit these abusive traits that they've assigned to narcissism, regardless of diagnosis. Their subreddit wiki post of terms seems to unsurprisingly be pretty sexist too, focusing on male abusers (specifying "he" in one of their terms and having a whole alternative version of a term for male survivors because apparently the base term insinuates a female survivor).
Idk I just felt like ranting. I hate when disorders get thrown around and used as catch all terms because we can't call things for what they are.

I know Sans is Sans but guys let's stop pretending like him and Toriel dating is some bad thing. Like, Toriel deserves someone who isn't a creepy stalker (he jumped out of the bushes. THE BUSHES). Kris might be uncomfortable with Sans but there's lots of kids with step parents like that, me for example! Let Toriel be happy for fucks sake.

Do you ever feel like if you disappeared, no one would care? Maybe they'd care for the first week or the first month but after that they'd just. Forget you. Never to be thought of again.

Horrortale is literally my favorite AU and one of the two that's kept me in this fandom through obsession alone. This is disgusting.
Horrortale’s creator caught proshipping
This just in folks, Horrortale’s creator Sour Apple Studios caught not only proshipping BUT making suggestive art of an original character WHO IS A MINOR
June 1st, the pride month before the fall, the patron unveiled this here post featuring not only Aliza’s rear end as front and center but said rear end being on Sans Horrortale’s lap. Thats right, the creator is stepping above and beyond in “what the fuck”age by not only inventing a minor character but making self-described mature art about them.
Using my newfound knowledge of how to DO a read more Ive even included the proof below the read more, it’s also publicly viewable on the website at this point in time and while the way back machine doesn’t seem to be loading the images you can at least confirm the text matches with these disgusting, distasteful screenshots
