So this photo didn't come out so well. But that's alright a shitty photo never killed anyone! well I hope not..
This is my awesome friend Akon and shes's visiting from AU for a couple of weeks. I was lucky enough to spend the day with this rainy day with her when I was going to spend it allll day inside.. instead we embarked on adventures, we went to west wave and swam laps like we did in the good o'l days, and we went to Piha for my very first time and rain in the rain( as i have to everyday for 23days sun or rain!)
I am super lucky to have Akon as one of my BFFF coz she's such a wonderful positive chick whos always up for a challenge and always has ma back (likewise) I'm so thankful don't get an awesome friend like her everyday =D

#DAY 12 - BOOK REVIEW
So I finished reading this book yesterday and to sum it up I would say it was a very moving story about two teenagers battle with cancer and in the midsts of it all meet each other at a cancer support group. They fall in love and all that, Gus has an 80% relapse rate but at this stage is clean of cancer and Hazel, well she's terminal, anyway there is a little twist in there. I really enjoyed the read and it did bring a few tears to my eyes. I do recommend it if you have a soft soft for teen fiction! =D
