#I mean #my main complaint about this movie was that it wasn't enough about galactic trade wars #they set up this really interesting political question #and then spent a bunch of time on light saber fights and milquetoast romance #which was boring #should have been a political thriller paperwork movie #i am... perhaps not the target audience for star wars

Here's one of my problems with strategic voting - Liberals never think they have to fucking do it. They just think they're god's anointed winners in every case.

There are ridings across the country where the NDP or the Greens were the leading non-conservative candidate, where you saw a neat vote split between them and the third place Liberals that let conservatives win by a razor thin margin.
