SINCE THE RETURN OF HIS MEMORIES there had been no such calm in romeoâs days. his mind seems to be constantly racing, anxiety holding his heart in a firm grasp, and his eyes never ceasing to look upon the faces of strangers in the hopes that they might meet HERS. the aquarium seemed to be the only place which offered him some sort of peace, it was as if he too were floating beneath the waves and the world seemed to stop; it was so soothing that he wasnât even certain who he was seeing when he came across another. â more beautiful words i have not heard in âŠ. â his voice trailed off to be lost through the glass-lined passageways, the man of verona turning his gaze to the woman who appeared almost ghost-like in the dim lighting and yet she could not be mistaken for his heart could not forget. â ⊠in a while. if my eyes do deceive me then i CURSE them to be plucked out. â
There were people passing through, voices carrying nearby, even if they werenât in the same viewing area. Yet the one that stood out was soft and gentle as it reached her ears exactly. It drowned out the other sounds in a peculiar way. Juliet quickly looked over her shoulder, her dark hair falling from her shoulder, down her back. âThatâs one hell of a line...â she says before she finally gets a look at the man who approached her. Why she wasnât immediately scared away, sheâd blame on the poetic way he spoke. She cleared her throat, her cheeks feeling warm, âSorry, that was...â Weird? Inappropriate? Too forward? âIâm Juliet...â she stood there, eyes wide, practically unable to move simply because she didnât want to.

The wash of the blue aquarium was so humbling, being submerged in another world completely different than the one humans know to be true. Natural, yet fantastical at the same time. Thatâs why it was one of her favorite spots, and why sheâd highly reccommended that for a couple that planned on getting married there. She could see it happening, getting lost in her day dream as she ghosted her fingers over the glass, wistfully quoting a book, âEvery atom of your flesh is as dear to me as my own: in pain and sickness it would still be dear...â

Mary Jane could hardly sleep these days. It was like everything was constantly moving, like she could feel the Earth spinning. It was like there was nothing she could do to alleviate the overwhelming feeling in her chest. She couldnât even bring herself to call out a random white woman for telling her black friend âIâve been trying to do my hair like thatâ. Even lying in bed in the dark could only band-aid that feeling. She got up and threw on a pair of jeans and a comfortable t-shirt, deciding to walk around the resort, instead, while it was quiet. She could feel something calming now, something that called her like a siren going off in her head that covered her like a wave crashing and returning to the sea. She looked around her, crossing her arms somewhat loosely. A few moments of silence and it seemed like there was no one around. But only when she turned to walk away did she see another person standing there, letting out a yelp of shock before she covered her mouth with her hand. âOh my god, Iâm sorry, you scared the shit out of me,â the words poured out of her mouth to the stranger as she rested her hand over her racing heart.Â

âDo you think they ever realize that they are making everyone extremly uncomfortable?â Leia asks softly, tilting her head to the couple who was basically eating eachothers faces at the park. âWhatâs the point of doing that in public?â
Juliet was once looking at the couple with fondness in her eyes, remembering a time when she was that happy. It almost made her heart ache, and it would have completely torn her apart, had not so many years passed. But then it got a little wild between them, to the point where it was dreadfully uncomfortable. âSome people are into that...â she said to the other as she cringed, âThe romantic notion of âI donât care who seesâ taken... a couple steps towards the extreme. Iâve definitely seen worse, but yikes.â

âYou know youâre doing it wrong, right?â Stefan called to the person across the street. He set his notebook and pen to the side to see what they were doing, and to him, they were doing it completely wrong. âIf you move to the right, then itâll be perfect.â he wasnât a perfectionist per se, but dammit, he had to say something. @woodshorestartersâ
âUgh, thank you!â Juliet called back as she adjusted the banner one last time before jumping back down onto the ground, huffing as she fixed her dark hair, âIâve been going back and forth at that for a bit. Itâs annoying when you donât have a second pair of eyes.â

âOkayâŠI know what youâre thinkingâŠbut I promise youâŠâ Astrid explained slowly, as she stared at the chef making her favorite meal at Chez Licorne, which was their chicken parm. ââŠIâm not trying to pretend to Darth Vader-choke the guy out. Just that he put a bit too much cheeze on the chicken parm.â @woodshorestartersâ
âYou can put too much cheese on something?â Mary Jane asked, eyebrows furrowing, âI get you can have too much seasoning, or even worse, too little seasoning, but too much cheese?â What she wouldnât give for a plate full of two thick slices of New York City pizza with extra cheese dripping onto the paper plate.Â

@woodshorestarters - open starter
âyou know? a few adjustments, some time alone to think, about ten espresso shots, and a dash of whiskey and a person could really get used to being somewhere completely different.â tony stated - casually waving himself in and out of the crowd at the rail yard tap. he wasnât exactly looking for something to drink - but more in hopes of finding a friendly face - or seven - to help him feel less anxious and highly alone.
tony was, after all, a creature of habit and comfort - and when he didnât have either, he just became a creature of chaos and mock âhaving his shit togetherâness. âwhat say you? agree? or disagree? how do you like it here? youâre good? iâm good. fine. absolutely fine.â
âI mean, Iâm not old enough to drink so...â Mary Jane muttered, the headaches of so much happening around her at once making her blink several times as she took a deep breath, as if that would solve all of her pain. âThere are worse places to get stuck in, but... yeah, itâs been weird, Iâll tell you that much.â

Morgan was walking around the city, she had been told she would find her father here, but she had been there for a while and still didnât find him there. Morgan wasnât paying attention to where she was walking and bumped into another person âI am so sorry.â Morgan looked up at the other and smiled slightly âI was not paying attention.â
Mary Jane stumbled back a bit at the interruption of her trance. Everything was so loud, so chaotic all over her. Being bumped into was actually exactly what she needed; to stop feeling so lost in everything and actually focus on a real person. âDonât worry about it,â she shrugged off, âSometimes fate does funny things like shove a person into you when youâre way too lost in your head.â

( wilting flowers, messy white bedsheets, a sad lark ) ââ && it looks like juliet capulet has finally arrived in woodshore ( though she originates from shakespeare ). although known as a THE FALLEN ANGEL back home, here they are an twenty six year old wedding planner, known to be WITTY, but VULNERABLE. they were coaxed here with the promise of A FRESH START. they remember NOTHING OF THEIR OLD LIFE.
Hereâs my second bby! Thereâs not much very different about her backstory, so let me just cut right to who she currently thinks she is!
tw; drunk driving, death.
Juliet is the daughter of nobility. Her family has always had loads of money when she was a child.Â
However, when she was 16 years old, her dad told her the truth; their money was running out and none was coming in, so they needed a powerful, wealthy business in their family to keep them afloat, and they would rely on her to get married at 18 to bring in the money.
Needless to say, it was horrifying to think of.
Naturally, in defiance, she fell in love with another boy at 18 years old. He was a bit older than her, attending the same university as her.Â
Of course, she fell in love so fast because sheâd never experienced it before and she thought she was supposed to fall completely or not at all.
When Juliet turned 21, she had the wildest night of her life. She and her friends escaped to Vegas for a proper 21st birthday bash. The night ended in her and her boyfriend getting married in a little chapel.
Sadly, the next morning, Juliet woke up to find the news report that her boyfriend, and now husband, had died in a car crash from drunk driving.Â
It devastated her, closed her off from love, and forced her to start thinking seriously about her life and what she wants to do with herself.
She doesnât believe sheâll ever fall in love again, because he was the only one out there for her.
But, she figured if she canât have her own happily ever after, then she can make them for other people, so she got into the wedding planning business after she graduated college.
Sheâs the kind of woman that is married to her work and doesnât really do much else with her life. Thatâs why her best friend (aka the nurse) helped her get this trip to Woodshore, for some freakin time off.
Of course, sheâs still scanning the area as a potential venue lol she needs to stop.

( cork boards used to solve mysteries, bright laptops in a dark room, a vanilla ice cream cone with sprinkles ) ââ && it looks like mary jane watson has finally arrived in woodshore ( though she originates from marvel earth 18119). although known as a THE INSURGENT back home, here they are an eighteen year old student, known to be COMFORTING, but NOSY. they were coaxed here with the promise of FINDING HER MOTHER. they remember BEING ATTACKED BY VENOM.
Hello all! My name is Mandy! I used to be in this group some time ago under a different alias and tbh i forget who i even brought in back then.
BUT IâM BACK because I LOOOOVE these three muses that Iâve brought and I hope you love them too!
First up is Mary Jane Watson. Iâve taken a bunch of inspirations from Tobyâs Spider-Man, the PS4 game, as well as Marvel Earth 18119.Â
tw; racism, domestic abuse,Â
B A C K S T O R Y :
Mary Jane Watson grew up with a Mexican mother and a white father. In an act of defiance against his racist family, his father married his mother and ran off to Brooklyn to raise their family.
However, his unconscious racism always showed and, no matter how many times her mother tried to help him, he refused. He lashed out. âHow dare you call me racist!â
After months of endless yelling and torture between mother and father, it began to affect their little Mary Jane, coming home constantly crying on the fire escape. Her mother finally picked her up, called the cops on the father, and ran away to Queens, NY to start over.
Itâs been just Mary Jane and her mom for the last several years. Sheâs gone to a public high school to keep a low profile and has always been told to stay quiet to protect herself.
Of course, as she grew into a teenager, she didnât like that all that much.
In fact, she HATES being told to be quiet.
She joined her schoolâs debate team and slowly, but surely, became captain and stirred up a lot of controversial topics.Â
It soon bit her in the ass when her home was attacked by something strange, something inhuman.Â
Next thing she knew, she woke up in a strange place called âWoodshoreâ that looked so, so far from New York.Â
Everything has been dialed up to 11 as she tries to navigate this new place and figure out why her mother isnât with her.Â
