Judith Anne Young
Missing since October, 1st 1999
Last seen: Gunningbland, NSW
Nickname/Alias: Judith Henry, Judith Boland, Judy Davis and a few more that are unknown at this time.
Ms Young was married in August of 1996 to a Mr Young.
Relevant information from the Coroners Court of New South Wales:
- Her disappearance was not reported until August of 2001 by her Brother. He was concerned that he had not heard or received any communication with her.
- Ms Young had an accident and because of this lodged a Workers Compensation. She was expected to inherit a fair amount of money from this. She had already inherited over $50,000 between April 1997 and early 2000. This stopped due to a lack of communication from
Last sighting:
- the actual last confirmed and corroborated sighting of Ms Young was on the 5 December in 1999. This was by Anonymous (will hide names incase they do not want it published) who Ms Young had purchased a horse from
- She told Mr Anonymous she was going to Sydney that morning with Mr B Anonymous as she had a doctor’s appointment. However, the investigation has revealed that Mr B Anonymous did not go to Sydney with Ms Young and she failed to attend her scheduled appointments in Sydney over the following days including an appointment with Carroll & Associates Solicitors at 3:00pm on Monday 6 December 1999.
- She also did not meet her brother Bill as planned.
Findings from the report:
- it was out of character for Ms Young to disappear as she was attached to her horses and dogs. She had also just purchased a new horse in the days leading up to her disappearance.
- Prior to her disappearance, Ms Young borrowed money from a friend and during this time she said someone was going to kill her. There was no mention of who and the money still remains unpaid.
Mr Young is a person of interest in the disappearance of Mrs Young and ultimately her death.
Mr Young has told the police:
- they broke up and she moved to Queensland.
- Claims he spoke to her over 5 times since she disappeared but could not remember the details of these conversations.
- That they should give up finding her because they had no chance.
