There's also a difference in who they're crying for. Yugi, it's the little fairy thing (I forget its name) that he hasn't really known for very long and doesn't have much of a bond with, as it doesn'teven exist outside the simulation. He's crying because it helped them and now it died and yes seeing someone die is sad to Yugi.
Atem is on a whole other level. He's just lost Yugi, someone he shares a body with, who he's become very close to and cares a great deal about (some might even say "loves"). He has a very strong bond with Yugi. And at that point in the story, he has just watched Yugi (essentially) die to save him.
It's a whole lot different crying because a nice stranger who helped you through a hard trip through a simulated world dies versus watching the very real person you care about more than anyone else knowingly sacrifice their own life to save yours.

Observe the difference between Yugi & Atem when they cry 😂😂😂

I think the reason people don't count her/say 'she doesn't count' is because she doesn't have a connection to the history that Juneteenth commemorates, and she's not of African descent.
At least, that's my guess.

Why did they need Rourke again?
(Answer: they didn't. The story would have been the same if they cut him out.)
Gary Trousdale, one of the directors of Atlantis, being the self-appointed head of the #HelgaLives movement

@bloomdigital this seems like something you guys would come up with.
Edit i did for my newest fic: Rourke as a shift manager/drive-thru cashier at Cookie's fast food restaurant, The Chuckwagon.
Lo, I have a manager that makes this exact face all the time.

For one thing, the "after" one is missing an ab. It almost looks like a bad AI pic.
Also, the "before" one looks like a normal human.

Darth Quisition?
the template would later branch out to any negative word, but the original naming scheme for sith lords was darth + a negative word starting with 'in', with the front cut off. e.g. Darth (In)vader, Darth (In)sidious, etc. in a return to tradition, my star wars property centres the fearsome Darth Cestuous

I don't go here, but for fucks sake anon, characters do not have to be 'bangable' for people to like them. Maybe this person just likes that character's aesthetic. Maybe this person just likes how that character was written. Or maybe this person is sex repulsed ace and doesn't even think about if their favorite is 'bangable' or not.
Let this person like their favorite thing, anon, even if it's not your favorite.
Yeah, but Rourke is nowhere near as bangable as Helga or Kida. The fact that he's a two dimensional villian doesn't help either.
Speak for yourself, Helga creeps me the fuck out and I like Kida but I don't see her that way.
As for Rourke, I'll tell you what I tell most of the fandom:

My mom has a subscription, I'm stealing this issue when she gets it.
The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg called the Trump White House's bluff, and published all the explosive details (paywall) about a private Signal group chat that, contrary to administration LIES, did indeed contain sensitive military strike plans.
They called him a liar. He posted the receipts.
Shit is flying.

This is one of those posts I can't tell if they're joking or not. Like, do they actually think that's what "/hj" means?
As much debate as there is about tone tags, 90% of the issues would be solved by just typing the word. Like instead of typing /gen or /hj you can just write (genuine) or (handjob) and you'll be doing pretty much the exact same thing.

I'm honestly not sure what genre some of the things I like would be.
Also, you can't even really say you don't like rap because it can overlap with just about every other genre there is (never heard a rap/classical or rap/opera overlap, but it would not surprise me if that exists)
Personally, I don't listen to a lot of rap, but I used to be someone who said "everything but rap". But I was also younger and didn't really pay attention to music the way I do now. My reason for saying that wasn't even racial, it was just based on 'it all sounds the same and either has a lot of cuss words or I can't understand the words'
I don't say that anymore (though listing what I do like is quite a laundry list so I say "a lot of things" or "too many to name". I've found some individual rap songs that I do enjoy. Enough that I can point out some people who absolutely should NOT have attempted it because it sounds Bad. Very bad. Like they don't understand the style at all.
Also, rap isn't just a genre, it's a unique art form. And while I don't enjoy a ton of it, I can still appreciate it as such.
"i mainly listen to pop-punk and emo and alt rock" yay! yippee :)
"i listen to everything but rap" no!!! first of all this information is so much less useful than just hearing what you do like. second of all, no the hell you do not listen to Catholic psychedelic synth folk. you're just singling out a distinctly black genre for Some Mysterious Reason
