it depends on what emotion or feeling you’re trying to convey in your story; there are many different interpretations of what hydrangeas may symbolise - nowadays, it mostly depends on the colour of them

• pink hydrangeas symbolise love and are often associated with a beating heart

• blue hydrangeas are associated with forgiveness and sincerity but they also symbolise rejection and regret

• white hydrangeas represent purity and abundance and are often gifted to parents of newborns
