In celebration of Pride Month, we have decided to organize live watch parties for Heartstopper and you are invited!

When?

Every Saturday and Sunday in the month of June, we will watch 1 episode of Heartstopper at 3:30pm EST. It won't work for everyone globally but in the past this has been the best compromise so Americas and Europe can all participate.

How it Works?

We are using the free google chrome extension “Teleparty” (previously knows as Netflix Party), which will synchronize the watching experience and provide a chat box. You will need a Netflix account and have the extension downloaded to join. Also please note that teleparty only works on Chrome on desktop or laptop.

About five minutes before we start, a link will be posted to this tumblr.

The only thing you have to do is click this link and then once netflix loads, click on the little “Tp” logo at the top right on your screen (where your chrome extensions are). If you don't see it, click on the little puzzle piece, to view all your extensions and have the option to "pin" Teleparty. The person hosting will be the only one able to play and pause the episode.

I don't know any of you, can I still come? Yes!

Keep it classy! We are here to enjoy a positive show together so let's keep the chat positive too! We aren't here to bash the show, the characters, and certainly not each other. Let's keep the discussion positive, the disagreements respectful, and the vibes immaculate.

My dear, dear gleewatch friends. I want to thank you all so so much for making this second rewatch a success. When I started this project two years (!) ago I never could have imagined how it would turn out. I have made so many amazing friends through this project and I am so grateful to each and everyone of you who have ever joined. If you were here from the beginning or only appeared one time because you had nothing else to do, every one of you made this project to what it became, a safe haven for all gleeks world wide to come together and enjoy our favourite show together. I really enjoyed being your host.

I am taking a little break from this project as it takes up a lot of time and I don’t think I can do glee back to back for all eternity. Though this probably won’t be the last time we do this, I will be signing off for now.

how does it work?

To join you need a Netflix account, a desktop or laptop computer and have the free Chrome extension “Teleparty” (previously knows as Netflix Party) downloaded.

The only thing you have to do is open this link in Chrome and then click on the little red “Tp” logo at the top right on your screen. If you can't find it, please click on the little puzzle piece, this is where your extensions are hidden. You can now pin it so it’s always visible. Once you’ve done this, you will be taken to a synced steam with a chat on the right! The person hosting will be the only one able to play and pause the episode.
