Went to watch Sinners yesterday and can't stop thinking about Grace. I have no problems with spoilers so while i didn't look up anything about the ending i did end up reading a few things from people analyzing the characters. I read that Grace was a commentary on the relationship between the asian diaspora in the states and african americans and how tumultuous it could get. But if that was the reason, the statement the movie was using Grace for, i don't think it worked.

Yes, Grace invited the vampires in. Yes, everyone told her not to and to just wait till morning. But she had no wishes of joyning the vampire cult/white society, she was scared for her daughter's safety. And even the whole forcing Bo to leave doesn't work for me cause Slim was the first to tell everyone to leave despite Annie's warnings.

I don't know, in a movie that had such a great way of mixing commentary with a supernatural plot, Grace's story felt very messy for me.
