      &&. i miss Sally Anne so much so I am back ok. i’ve just been moving country so it has been crazy busy. i have my first meeting for my course today but when i get back tonight i will sort through drafts. if anyone wants a STARTER though --- like this post ok.

I sat alone, in bed ‘til the morning ,I’m crying, “They’re coming for me”. And I tried to hold these secrets inside me.                There was a comfort in it, the way her head rested against Maria’s lap; she was SAFE. Although not entirely certain that she was wanted, but Sally Anne trusted that the older woman would never let any harm come to her, even if that was just for Natasha. She had become a home, a sanctuary, the first place she had felt calm enough to curl up and allow her mind to switch off, allow the night demons to invade her mind as she lay so still, so close to another human being. 

                                            The bed had been too isolated. She had been unable to verbalise the stillness that had filled that small room, how the silence seemed to scream and she was choking on all that  e m p t y  s p a c e.  Instead she lay with her head resting against Maria’s thigh, not quite relaxed enough to drift away, although the pressures of the dark weighted her eyes and she fought her heavy lids just long enough to tilt her face towards Maria. 

                             ❝ THANK YOU, ❞ She murmured, pressing her loneliness, her gratitude into each sleepy word. ❝ You’re a very comfortable pillow. ❞
