"Astrid, we shouldn't talk about Amaros that way, I know the way he acts can be unsightly for some, but calling him an animal seems like a lot." Vex'ahlia said with a teasing smirk. "Speaking of Amaros, he pretty much had me spread eagle, but the real story here is how I might be seeing an older man who is a giant teddy bear and just the cutest thing in town." he crossed his arms as he huffed. "Also, I resent the fact that you just assume I have some boy stuff to talk about so easily. I don't just put it out there like it's candy on hallow's eve."

"Well if it isn't my favorite sheltered would-be party animal," Astrid all but shouted that across the empty bar. Her lips had turned up in a smirk and she had stopped mid wiping of the counter. The rag used was thrown over her shoulder and her body slid to lean against it a moment later in preparation for the other's appearance. "You only come in when you've got something new to share and I'd love to hear all about it. Tell me about your boys, your adventures and whatever new things you've discovered."

"But why? That's so boring. I'm so good, at everything and you know this, and if you think I could only have you once and be sated you're mistaken. I'm not trying to date here, just scratch an itch only you seem to be able to handle," Vex mused as he smiled the other man.

"I'm not really into breakfast food, but I'll have all of it." Vex'ahlia admitted as he thought American style breakfast was too riddled with sugar and sweet things. "That sounds like a challenge." he giggled, before getting up. "I'll just go out naked since I think I burned my clothes."

"Darling." While Amaros does return the kiss, he gently pulls himself away after, sighing deeply, "Rules apply to you, too. I only do this once." He knows his family would prefer if he did not do this, at all -- if he just came back into the ocean and didn't leave it for the rest of his life.

"You do get breakfast out of this, though.", he winks, softly, places one hand below Vex's thigh and pulls him with him, "Come on. You can't stay in my bed forever." Given Amaros is in desperate need for a swim, and that in the ocean, not just in his small, gloriously white bathtub. Raising himself from the bed, Amaros points in the direction of the kitchen, "I can offer eggs, bread? Toast? Marmelade? Perhaps pancakes?"

Vex'ahlia wasn't sure any of this would work. The fire fae was sure the man would simply laugh off any of his attempts, or even ignore him and move on with his day. But the second Vex felt him be receptive, his cheeks burned red. "Oh...I hadn't planned this far ahead," he admitted. "Is this the part where I'm supposed to say I'll be keeping you busy all night or does that come later? I'm sorta new to flirting, someone taught me everything you just saw," With a giggle, he took Matiu's hand and kissed the back of his palm.

"Vex'ahlia, but you can call me Vex." He mused. "Sorry if I seem a bit nervous, that would be because I am...Men as gorgeous as you shouldn't even look my way, I truly am not worthy. But I'm glad for you to squeeze me into your new cardio routine."

Matiu was on his lunch break, enjoying the downtime for the moment. He was leaning up against the wall cradling sandwich in one hand while the other rested at his side. Occasionally he gave a small friendly nod to those that passed by, sometimes slipping on an easy smile to along with it. He was still settling in somewhat, but was finding to quite enjoy the town. Though when he felt a finger tapping on his arm, head turned and looked down slightly with brow soon arching in curiosity. "Oh?" he murmured before he was watching the other male move to where the supposed friend was waiting.

A chuckle leaves him as he watches the other move to the doorway, nodding as it was pretty clever. Certainly wasn't a pick up line he'd used nor had used on him before. "Well," Matiu began, free hand coming up to rub at his chin before falling back to his side. "Guess you'll have to tell your friend they got the answer right," he winked, hand extending out to him. "Matiu an' I'm free tonight."

"Oh, I forgot to wear a shirt, sorry I just had a visitor the other night." Vex'ahlia mentioned as he rummaged for on Matiu's hoodies he had in a backpack somewhere. "Tips? Um...I'm not quite sure the last time someone asked me for that they wanted a happy ending service."

"Darling, I know we run hot, but I would appreciate it if you could keep your shirt on while walking about the hallways." Not that they were getting complaints about it. Quite to the contrary, people were starting to ask too many questions. "If you ever get tired of pouring coffees, I'm sure you could get plenty of tips in the spa."

Walking up to the police officer, Vex'ahlia took a deep breath as he psyched himself up. "You can do this Vex, you're a hot tiny 5'5 fae, with a great ass and a cute accent. Let's go." After his own little warm up, he smiled up at Matiu and tapped him arm. "Hi, so my friend over there thinks you're really cute." The fae said as he pointed to the doorway, as he quickly ran towards it and posed. "Hope you liked that one, I thought about it long and hard, and um...I was going to ask what you were doing later tonight, and my friend said that I should say I hope the answer to that is me." @matiukauri

"Meaning Matiu's big, like big big. But I'm always up for a challenge." Vex'ahlia smirked blushing a little at Jess's words. "I'm pretty good with fire, but sadly I am alone for the holidays, and I was hoping to spend them with someone, friends, maybe someone hot like my flames? And he is a gentle giant, I could wake up in his arms everyday, or on that chest."

"Tall, muscular, could throw me through a wall. He's so sweet, and I think I melt when he smiles. Consider I'll look like this pretty much forever. You might support this voyage, but I don't know if my...um, nether regions can withstand such potent power."

"Well Amaros was my first everything, and he's kind of what spoiled me a little bit. He taught me way too many things. The other two...are older. Matiu and Tiago if you know of them. They're so dreamy, and I just want them together at all times. Is that bad?"

It was a thrill like no other, the ecstasy and serotonin pumping through his system as Amaros took the reigns. Not once had he felt like this, breathless and entirely captivated, that first kiss had sealed the deal, and ever since then Vex'ahlia was insatiable. He needed more, craved more, and the playful fae kept coming back.

Vex groaned under the covers slipping out of bed, only to rest his head against Amaros' chest, his lips peppering kisses on his skin as he pulled him back to bed. "No, I don't wanna," he yawned, smiling as he forced them to tumble backwards, Vex's back hitting the mattress as his legs wrapped around Amaros' waist.

"You think I could wake up early with all the things you did to me last night?" he mused, smiling into a kiss. "It's not like I have to get to work."

A fast metabolism is glory, when it means getting over the various amounts of mer alcohol consumed the night before. If a Sunday morning does entail waking up with a pretty fae next to him, that's even more fun. The face is familiar -- familiar, and really, really pretty. Just that Amaros is pretty sure the boy has no idea who he actually is, and what the Atlantian blood flow in his body means.

Amaros slips out of bed, showers, gets some coffee ready, then leans against the doorframe, and coughs gently. "Babes.", he calls out, "It's like 11 in the morning. Time to wake up, no..?" He's shirtless, of course. Why wouldn't he be, at any chance he gets.

"Yeah it was really fucking boring," Vex commented noting that this was probably the closest thing he could say to the the truth. "Ah okay, is that why it's so...fragrant? Smells very, green. Thank you, if you see one with a scowl permanently etched on his features let me know, that's my friend or at least he will be."

"Raised Amish?" She asked incredulously, her brow raised as she looked over the other. He really didn't look like he was raised Amish; must be one of those that left to see the word like in that TV show. "Well, it's a drug. A plant, used as a drug that is. I'll be on the look out for a very pretty, tall, muscular man then."

"Perfect! Because if I tasted everything I made I'd have way too much of a sugar rush and I don't think I wouldn't get sick of it. At least this way I can look forward to seeing you again, and making something else." Vex mused. "Music, well pretty much everything. Because my parents were so into their isolated lifestyle I didn't get to experience much so I think I'm in that phase of loving everything. You're fine, pry away. Kind of hard to say no when you're that nice."

"I'd try anything you'd bake for sure. Nothing wrong with that at all as far as I'm aware. So you ever want someone to taste test or anything of that nature, by all means- I'll definitely volunteer for that," Cade answered easily with a short nod to punctuate his words. "What kinds of books and music are you into? If you don't mind me asking, that is. I don't mean to pry too much into anything."

"That's so cool, and it makes me realize I've missed out on so much thanks to the way I was raised. The world truly is full of wonderful things people take for granted, huh?" Vex commented finding that every new little thing was just an amazing discovery. "Oh a group, and their harmonies are perfect. She does look much younger here wow, but never has she looked bad I see."

She giggles but is confused by what he is saying. "Boop works or bop maybe." She pulls out her phone to pull up youtube and starts to type in the search bar. "Queen Bey actually, and yeah she's very popular." She starts to play 'Say My Name' on her phone and holds it up for him. "Destinys Child was her group before she went solo, but you can see how baby she is."

"It's no matter, I'm just glad I made a friend today. Sorry, if I'm coming on a little strong I've been told before I come across as a bit...enthusiastic." Vex mentioned knowing how in the past he'd been burned before thanks to his behavior. "You're the sweetest, and I'm glad cause I've been pretty alone for awhile now." he shrugged. "Sign me up for all of it if you're involved, and hmm I don't think I've ever hit the gym before. I love books a lot, and music is definitely something I enjoy. So far baking and cooking for others has been one of my favorite things to do, I just wish...I had someone to make treats for."

"I get that. Can happen to the best of us." Cade had a neutral social life these days, but mostly he put that on being at work. "I am...honestly not too sure. I don't think I've ever s-spoken to anyone like that before," He laughed lightly, unsure of how to approach that. Especially without the full context of saying something like that 'correctly.' "No, no- I don't find anyone too much. Don't think it's in me," He chuckled. "Beach things, photography, a little bit of gym things- the usual past that, you know. Music, movies, so on. How about you?"

"It certainly pays off," Vex beamed unaware that his tone could be seen as flirtatious as he was just being overly complementary. "Okay good, because being alone here is pretty...lonely." Cade definitely made him feel safer than most others, a lot more than the customers he'd get at trick or treat. "Is this the part where I say the only killer here is you because you have killer good looks? Is that the correct way of saying that?" Vex whispered closely. "I'm finding that hard to believe because from what I see you're like one of the guys from the stories my mom used to read me. S-Sorry if I'm being too much, I've been told that I can be that before. So what do you like to do for fun Cade?"

"I try," He spoke differently than Cade did. It wasn't a bad thing. Just further proof that maybe Westray wasn't where he was from originally. "No, no- you're a-okay. I think telling someone something nice about them is a great way to make a friend. I certainly have no issue with being your friend so far. Hopefully you're not some secret killer or anything," He joked. "Oh! Uh...-I'm...I'm not t-too sure? I'm sure there are plenty much more attractive than me."

Vex's eyes brightened as she spoke of the bee's other works of music. "You mean there was music before this? Please tell me you have this at the ready because I need to...how do people say, boop to this?" Slang definitely wasn't his forte, but Vex'ahlia wasn't aware of how poorly he was using modern language to begin with. "Miss Bee must be very popular."

"Riiiiight." Fleur tries not to laugh at how he says Beyonce's name. Was this a new slang thing from the city or maybe English wasn't his first language? "Yeah, Beyonce slaps." Everyone should know about the magic of her music. "You ever listen to Destinys Child? Beyonce before she was Queen Bey."

"That's really sweet of you, I always find it that people with many interests tend to be quite thoughtful, especially when those interests lie in the habitat of animals." Vex wasn't a vegetarian or vegan by any means, but he did believe in treating animals as kindly and respectfully as possible. "Yes, your eyes, I sort of find myself staring at them, but uh sorry if that's a bit weird. I'm really not used to making friends...Not that I assumed we'd just be friends like that, but I um was maybe...hoping." he said as he twiddled his fingers. "Cade, and thank you, my mom was big on fantasy books. Question is every guy here as good looking as you?" Vex'ahlia asked genuinely curious.

Only seen fish in books? The people who raised Vex must have kept him locked away from the world at large. Or he was raised somewhere very far away from here. "Completely. I would say the interests of the ocean are some of my favorites," He confirmed with a small nod, friendly smile playing on their lips. It was nice to know he was curious and not just some kid playing a prank. "M-My eyes? I appreciate that. Pleasure to meet you, Vex'ahlia. I like your name. Mine's Cade."
