I took the dog out this morning to find something that I… can’t nearly put into words. A new house is being finished next-door to mine. No one was working there, but they had “visitors”. Two male peacocks (from the nearby zoo) were at the front door of the house as there to say, “Have you heard of the Church of the Peacock?” Of course I was struck by what I saw, & as soon as the dog finished its business, I was about to grab my camera to document this abnormality. But as soon as I reached inside the door for it, they had dispersed from their original position; seeming to walk away in rejection after finding out nobody was at home. Opportunity denied.

It’s at times like this where I had a wish I had a camera in place of my eyes (or just from my point of view) to catch the random zaniness that I observe daily. Many situations of which I can nary put into words. Screw the police needing body cams, I’ve got better things to capture for posterity. Unfortunately, this is all I’ve got:
