im a fucking sucker for the “character gets so badly injured that they can’t think clearly and start calling for help in a distressingly vulnerable way.” characters who start using nicknames for their friends they haven’t used since they were kids. characters who start begging for their brother they haven’t seen in years to be there. characters who would usually use their parents’ names or call them mother/father/etc crying out mama when they go down. u understand.

which oc has had the biggest change from how you originally wrote/thought of them?

it probably has to be koray out of all the ocs on this blog

they were the first one to be made out of all the spilt oil story characters, and were based off a super old oc we had when we were like. 13. which was based off the marble hornets/similar genre stories

originally for this story they were going to be the main character, and ergot was going to be just a mysterious headmate that went dormant a while ago. now its that koray takes over after the whole Door situation to become the main fronter/host, and before The Door they were sharing about 50/50 with ergot (and with lev and alef taking front when they wanted) but ergot stopped fronting after The Door. and after the friend group gets back together after The Door, koray is still fronting for the majority of the time for a while, then it slowly switches to ergot being the main fronter when with them

(ergot is the headmate who is friends with the friend group, but koray is also friendly with them. but they dont front as much when around them to let ergot, who knows them better and is closer, front and interact with them)
