i keep meaning to add dibella and stendarr to the roster, huh. anyway, in their da verses, they both are a conglomeration of spirits that came together long ago and merged into a largely singular entity. mercy, compassion and justice for stendarr and love, beauty and music for dibella. dibella is tied in with one of my ocs ( talas, @emeratu ) and is his mother. since im da focused with this post, it largely follows the same as elder scrolls. she took mortal form out of curiosity and became enamored by an elven bard. you see where im going with this. he wooed a god without realizing it. they fell in love and she decided on a whim to have a child with him; giving up a part of her divinity in the process. it severely weakened her during and to make matters worse, they were discovered by templars. she had been caught using magic when she reinforced a warding barrier to shield herself from detection by the other divines and spirits under their command when she was close to giving birth. rialas - her elven lover - tried to hold the door but was ran through when they managed to force their way in. an explosion of magic erupted from her grief and pain leveled the small cabin they were staying in; killing the templars. with the last of her energy, she carried rialas and her infant to the outskirts of a neighboring village and left them by the road. then, she had a choice to make: return to the fade or die in her mortal flesh. she choose to denounce her flesh and return. her actions were now known to the other gods and akatosh scorned her, forbidding her from crossing the veil again. until she recovers what power she can, she has no choice but to oblige
