The Ivan Cycle: Guy that wants to change but doesn’t believe he can.

Important note that while Ivan is fascinated when it comes to seeing Till struggle, it doesn't mean he likes it when he's hurt. He fell for Till because of his willingness to fight back over and over again despite it seemingly always ending badly for him. He loves Till's resilience, not what forces him to be.
