“So you mean I need to get there by 4:45 and then attend the meeting and then leave by 10:00 and then catch my flight ?”, a beautiful woman asked on the phone as she drove her car in the lonely and dark streets. “Yes but you’ll have to be very careful with your words tomorrow”, came a reply from the speaker of the phone. The woman couldn’t help but make an annoyed noise at the reply.

“You always say that, also how long is this meeting going to be. I’m telling you firsthand if it’s not about the product launch and if all other crap and unnecessary subjects will be discussed then I’m leaving and that’s final”, Irene ordered to the person on the phone. “Yes ma’am !”, and with that the other person cut his call.

Irene looked outside the car as she halted at the red light. She reflected on how her life had gotten so busy suddenly. Managing a multimillion dollar business that has multiple products is not an easy job. Irene turned on the songs and let her body and mind sink into the music.

“I love this song”, she whispered into thin air as she started singing along. The signal turned green and Irene started driving towards the grocery store. She could only think about her busy life and how she had no time for friends, family and love.

She couldn’t even remember the last time she caught up with her friends or even went out on a date. She simply didn’t have time for it.

Irene arrived at the shopping store hoping it would be open. “It does say 24/7 open”, she mumbled to herself as she got out the car and walked towards the store. To her surprise the store wasn’t as empty as she thought it would be.

A lot of people dressed like her were shopping. Rich, serious and boring people. Irene let out a sigh as she was tired.

“Okay so…I need milk, cheese, bread, some ice cream and what else..?”, the CEO spoke to herself as she walked towards the dairy isle. However she did not notice someone’s stare on her.

The cashier noticed and recognised the beautiful CEO the minute she walked in. Yn couldn’t help but gush over the young CEO. She was shamelessly checking out Irene. There was something that Irene had that made yn swoon and blush. It was as if yn’s celebrity crush had just walked in.

Soon enough, Irene felt someone’s stare and looked up and made eye contact with yn who just ran off to her counter. Irene gave a confused look as she kept looking around for the stuff she wanted

After gathering all the things she wanted, Irene then stood in line to pay for the items and leave. Since it was late there weren’t that many people in the store which made it better for yn to glance and look at Irene.

Irene noticed that the cashier was constantly looking at her. She first thought it was creepy but as she too kept on glancing at yn, something about her made her cute..

The way she was talking to each customer politely and laughing made Irene intrigued.

She wanted to get closer to the cashier. As the line kept on moving forward, Irene read the cashier’s name on her name tag. ‘Yn…what a cute name’, Irene thought to herself as she stared at yn. Unknowingly she let out a big smile that yn caught which made her blush.

It was finally Irene’s turn to pay for the items and the whole time, none of them said anything. Irene just let it happen. She kept looking at yn’s face almost staring at her and then she observed her hands.

Yn didn’t have the strength to even look up and make an eye contact. Everything went on silently. “Here’s your receipt Ma’am”, Yn said a bit confidently shocking himself. Irene felt her heart tingle as she heard the cute and soft voice of the cashier.

Irene made the payment with her card. She was going to leave when yn suddenly called out for her. “Um maam! You forgot this!”, yn said as she quickly placed a small piece of paper into Irene’s bag.

Irene just smiled and went out of the store and took out the piece of paper. It was yn’s number and a heart with ‘Call me’ written next to it.

And Irene sure did call her.
