I was not active on tumblr for pretty much 1 year.

All the cats are fine, except the black one actually had a secret twin brother, raised by mommy, what i first saw at age of 11 weeks. He was extremely shy, and got wounded deadly by something large+doglike in January 2024.

The black cat one has a 4 months younger female playmate, his 2xGrandfather is almost certainly her father and Grandfather. She was isolated by her mother at the age of 1-3 weeks with mild cold-symptoms, and the mother was never seen again, likely died to disease, because she raised very young kittens in a stormy week, and no one knows how many kittens.

The young female motherless cat had roughly 80 ticks, and I hand-picked 70 ticks in a single day. My 4 months older cat boy only let her suck HIS nipples 2 times when she was 3 weeks old, and then taught her to "fight with your tongue and not with your claws". She follows me like a primed duckling and sees my cat as mentor. She is a spoiled princess, who gets lucky kills on mice/birds and once killed a panicking pheasant in a fence, but she rarely eats what she kills.

She has an older sister, as old as my black male cat, who was a late-bloomer and a bit of a weakling, and since December 2023 became my "secret lover, who wants to sleep at my place every night, cuddle long times, and leave at sunset"

I saved 4 more kittens of another mother of the same age in the same area, one of them had a 3to4 cm long prolapse at the age of 4 months.

This 5-week old kitten was the only-child survivor, and his parents are twins, so he was more sheltered. He is gentle, unless there is food nearby, then he keeps shaking and clawing out of control, which hinders him at drinking, UNLESS the bottle hangs from above and he can sit/stand/lie.

This series marks the end of only bottle-feeding him, because he so nicely kept screaming for more, showing his teeth are ready for solid food, after he kept refusing mommy's dead-mice-gifts for almost 3 weeks. At the age of 7-weeks he gets bottle-fed water on hot days, and he finally learned to drink standing water without drowning his nose in it.

5 weeks old kitten keeps puling the water+milk bottle down with enough force to lift himself up completely on only 6 claws, but he keeps pushing the bottle too far down. this makes bottle-feeding-in-a-standing-position the fastest method, only laying lower when the tongue is a vacuum pump Latch.
