Most of the time- I’ve seen how its Hades the one reuniting with Hythlodaeus but- shouldn’t it be the other way around? Hades waiting after being ferried by Hydaelyn back to the Source- not knowing when or if he ever would see him again. Only for Hyth to arrive once Zodiark is no more.
