I remembered you like the back of my hand; I could recall every detail of you, down to the specific placements of your freckles and the way the light shined in your eyes. I could picture you perfectly in my mind, I could describe you effortlessly with detail. I held a sense of comfort in being able to picture you no matter where I was, and over time, I slowly lost it.
I can no longer recall the specific placements of your freckles, the shine in your eyes, the way your hair fell or the way your smile looked. I can no longer remember how you looked, every time I try to remember; it’s a swirl of a blur and memory.
