I love it! Only thing is, I just cannot see Batman hugging anyone, even if it’s someone whose fluffy and cuddly. Far as I’m concerned, Batman accepting a hug is a hug in itself.

Also, I couldn’t resist adding Robin in there. :P

Hadouken - Ryu (Street Fighter shot)

Ingredients: 3/4 oz blue curacao 3/4 oz Fireball Cinnamon Whisky Splash of Bacardi 151 

Directions: Mix the blue curacao and Fireball in a shot glass.  Layer a thin bit of Bacardi 151 (or other overproof rum) on the top and light on fire.  Block to extinguish and drink!  Add more Bacardi 151 to the top to make it a Shinkuu Hadouken.

Scott & Ramona, 2007

Drawn right after finishing Vol 4. This is one of my favorite SP character illustrations. They are pleasantly solid and chunky and have ridiculous sparkly eyeballs. I think I was sick of brush inking after doing that whole book and just wanted to do something clean and anime-slick.

The Star Wars Identities exhibit is fast approaching. It will open in Montreal, Canada April 19 and Edmonton, Canada October 27. The exhibit will look at personal identity when viewing famous Star Wars characters as well as within ourselves. You can check out each piece in greater detail here.
