All you freedom fighters, if that’s the way your allies are speaking maybe it’s time to rethink where your loyalties lie.

Taking accountability for my actions
I would like to apologize to the global feminist movement.
A little while ago I stated that rape was bad. In this bigoted, ignorant and racist remark I irresponsibly ignored the fact rape can actually be good. for example, when marginalized people of color (armed terrorists) are doing it to their oppressors (tied up civilian women they just kidnapped), and maybe even healing (they are screaming allahu akbar while doing it and posting the videos online).
I understand now that by making the horrible statement I was siding with the colonizers and causing further trauma to my comrades in gaza but more importantly, in colleges and universities in the west.
After listening to the wise scholars of tiktok and tumblr, I now recognize that rape is bad only when the global left morally approves of the people who are being raped. otherwise, it's "punching up".
I vow to educate myself on the matter, check my privilege and unlearn my biases.

Honestly, I’ve always been one of the people who call for immediate ceasefire whenever things got bad with Hamas, and exactly for the reasons you call for it now - I care about human rights for both Israelis and Palestinians and I don’t want people to get hurt. War is bad.
But now? I think calling for ceasefire without any conditions is borderline offensive. This last attack from Hamas was unprovoked, actually Israel was about to increase the number of people from Gaza who are allowed to work in Israel, and it was so brutal and inhumane and really like nothing we’ve seen since Isis. And now we know better than ever that we can’t live so close to this organization without compromising our safety. And us, Jewish people, are the only community in the world expected to live this close to such a violent terrorist group that wants to destroy us, and not do anything about it. If we ceasefire now it will happen again.
I don’t want to be at war. I don’t want innocent people to die, no matter where they’re from. And I’m glad our army has declared a humanitarian area in Gaza for people to evacuate and recieve aid, and I think we did it too late. We could have done better.
I know. It’s not ideal and I wish no one would have to leave their home, but this is not “ethnic cleansing”. Do you honestly think that evacuating people from a war zone is as bad as killing them all? Come on. We are doing what we can to keep as many civillians as possible alive. And if it makes you feel any better, israelis living close to the front were evacuated too.
Some wars are necessary.

i'm tired i'm too tired to keep approaching people individually and i'm kinda done. i'm just gonna say this publicly once, please read this. the situation over here rn isn't about palestinians fighting for their human rights and freedom, if it were i would support it. the attacks on israel are by a terrorist organization named Hamas and you're more than welcome to look them up-their ideology is: number one that they see the muslim people as entitled to the land of israel/palestine (which i am not going to argue about, i don't agree nor disagree on that i quite literally don't care about that conversation), and number two that they need to kill jews. i'm not paraphrasing that's in their literal "covenant"- again, look it up- that they strive to kill all jewish people and see it as their obligation to do so. i hate this country and its government with every fiber of my being and the things israel has done (and still does) to palestinians are absolutely horrible and condemnable. with that said, the attacks rn aren't about that. they're not by palestinian citizens, they're by the terrorist group known as hamas. they do things that could not ever be done in the name of fighting for human rights or self-preservation. i am critical of israel but 1,100 innocent israeli civilians are dead since saturday. some are people i know and care about. so many were kidnapped and tortured. this IS complicated and you SHOULD educate yourself proparly on the matter before speaking and yes before reblogging random posts too. your opinion is your own but you must have the proper information before preaching it.
reblog this, don't reblog this, i don't really care anymore. but i had to say something.

Good evening, a few reminders:
1. Both Jews and Palestinians are native to the land of Israel
2. Nothing that Israel could ever do justifies the cruel terror attack we have endured
3. Hamas is a terror organization, it doesn’t represent civillians or advocates for human rights, the people of the Gaza strip would be better off without it
4. Israel’s current military actions are not revenge targeted at civillians, they are a war against a terror organization as cruel as Isis that won’t let civillians evacuate despite the warnings from the IDF regarding future attacks
5. This is not another one of those rounds of escalation you always hear about, over 1500 terrorists have invaded Israeli homes and military bases and slaughtered, kidnapped and raped thousands of Israelis in their beds. We are way past peaceful solutions.

The situation in Israel
This account is not really active anymore but it still has many followers from all over the world so I think it’s a good platform to speak up.
First of all, I am physically well and so is my immediate family.
Second of all, it’s okay not to have an opinion. This is a complex situation and it’s very hard to understand it without living it. Today, it’s easy to express an opinion online but it doesn’t mean we always should. You can’t get an accurate picture through some infographics online and if you simply choose not to say anything I respect that.
But if you do want to know better, and you do want to support those who need it, I strongly suggest that you look into the history and the present of the situation in Gaza. It’s not the same as the West Bank. And all the “free Palestine” you hear? Hamas, the terror organization, took over Gaza almost 20 years ago. It hasn’t been a part of Palestine for almost 20 years.
I’ve been on Tumblr, a very liberal platform, for almost a decade now. I’ve never seen so many feminists, liberals and human rights activists justify murder, torture and rape as I’ve seen this past week. Colonization sucks, occupation sucks, and Israel is by no means innocent when it comes to these topics. But so is the US, and it would be unthinkable to start a conversation about 9/11 with “this is what decolonization looks like”. This is Israel’s 9/11. This is not a fight for human rights, Hamas does nothing for human rights. This is terror, and nothing justifies it. We, liberals or leftists or whatever you’d like to call it need to get our priorities straight. Terror is the biggest threat to peace, freedom and human rights. I wish peaceful solutions would work here, but they don’t. We are at war against a terror organization as cruel as Isis, and what we need from you, the people who oppose to violence, is your support.
