PROMPTS FOR ENEMIES TO LOVERS * assorted dialogue for that slow build up of reluctant interest and romantic curiosity between enemies, adjust as necessary
you didn't have to help me, you know. you could have just left me there.
are you... flirting with me? was that flirting?
dinner's on me. we can work out our differences then.
you're not as bad as i thought.
i'm shocked. that was actually impressive, what you just did. i didn't think you had it in you.
we've been going at it for hours.
this doesn't mean i like you.
please step out of my way.
if you just gave me a chance to prove myself...
you've got me all wrong.
i don't actually hate you.
i didn't know you could do that.
you don't have to believe everything they tell you about me.
you're kinda cute for an asshole.
i'm not here to be made fun of.
it was just a kiss. it didn't mean anything.
when did i ask you for advice?
let me make this clear. i don't like you. i will never like you. i am just using you for your expertise, and that's it.
i don't care what you think of me.
why can't you just see me for me?
it's a shame you're such an asshole.
we could have had something.
that was before i realized who you were.
i think i deserve a little respect.
why do you keep looking at me like that?
stop staring at my ass!
maybe i misjudged you.
i was pretty mean back then, wasn't i?
i never gave you a chance to explain yourself.
you're not as bad as i thought you'd be.
let's bury the hatchet.
i heard that!
what were you saying about me?
was that... a compliment?
i think we got off on the wrong foot.
let's try again. let me reintroduce myself.
can we call a truce?
we're never going to get anything done if we're at each other's throats.
are you the one that vouched for me?
i'll have to admit... that was pretty great.
think of the things we could accomplish if we just worked together.
you need my help. i need yours.
what you did back there... that was impressive.
i didn't ask for your help back there.
why are you helping me?
i thought you hated my guts.
that was a little uncalled for.
great, but i still don't trust you.
stop staring at me like that.
we both have something the other needs.
i don't need a babysitter.
let's start over. try this again.
you're the one who got us into this mess, not me.
i thought you said you didn't want to help me.
maybe it would be smarter if we worked together.
i don't like working with you, but maybe i have to.
this would be a lot easier if you just listened to me.
why do you hate me so much?
you're the one that kissed me!
i never gave you a chance to explain yourself.
they were wrong about you. i... was wrong about you.
there's a lot more to me than meets the eye.
you're not so bad yourself.
what ever happened to "i will never work with you as long as i live?"
what made you change your mind about me?
i can take care of myself, you know.
#BARK BARK BARK BARK#IM BEGGING ON MY HANDS AND KNEES#forceship with me if u must please i Need this#prompt.

PROMPTS FOR TELLING A BIG SECRET * assorted dialogue, adjust as necessary
when you have a moment, we should talk.
there's a lot you don't know.
i'm not who you think i am.
i lied about a lot of things, but i never lied to you about how i felt.
i had a feeling you would ask me about that someday.
i'm not actually [name].
you should probably sit down for this.
before i say anything, i need to make sure you're ready to hear this.
everything you've ever known is a lie.
i was given strict instructions not to tell you what happened.
do you want to know the truth about what happened to your parents?
when i tell you the truth, you'll hate me.
after all this time, i think you deserve to know the truth.
i've been keeping a lot from you.
if you don't tell me the truth, i'm leaving.
stop lying to my face.
they didn't tell you what really happened to your parents.
it's time for you to hear the truth.
everyone knows you're special.
i think i should tell you something.
i'm honestly not sure how to go about telling you.
they haven't always been honest with you.
remember that? that was a lie.
you'll figure it out sooner or later. might as well be the one to tell you.
that was never real.
i'm tired of the lies. i want the truth.
was that the truth, or just another lie?
was any of this real?
you're not actually one of them.
i don't think you can handle the truth.
give me an honest answer for once.
you wouldn't believe me if i told you.
you're different than the rest.
where have you been sneaking off to?
you want me to tell you everything? fine.
don't say i didn't warn you.
you told me you were going out. why did you lie?
what lies have you told me?
some things are best left unsaid.
ignorance is bliss, you know.
they never told you what really happened to [name].
you'd be better off not knowing the truth.
you've never been told the truth about what happened.
i think it's time you were told the truth about your parents.
there's something you need to know.
i can't keep a secret from you.
were you lying to me this whole time?
what have you been keeping from me?
you're not actually from there.
there's something else i need to tell you, something you're not gonna like.
promise me you won't hate me when i tell you.
i can't believe you've kept this from me.
i think i deserve the truth.
if you can't tell me everything, at least give me a hint.
so that's what you've been keeping from me this whole time?
who told you to lie to me?
when were you planning on telling me the truth?
i think i can trust you with this.

amy had never experienced cruelty anything alike to what ed peletier had bestowed upon his family ⸺ even viewing it secondhand was enough to make her feel small. she couldn't even begin to imagine being in @careol's shoes, feeling that way every single day under her husband's shadow. lips press into a line and purse, at a loss for the right thing to say; she opts for an echo, ❝ you're doing the best that you can, that's gotta mean something. ❞ amy doesn't need to look over her shoulder to know where carol's eyes linger. when she speaks again, it's more an unfiltered stream of consciousness, ❝ with everything else that's happening in the world around her, the last thing she needs is to see that . . . but, for what it's worth, whenever i've watched over her and the other kids, she's never mentioned anything about it. ❞ (cont.)

if she had to see the situation they'd found themselves in in a positive light, amy would just be grateful that she was not alone. the comfort that lucy provided was more than she could ever describe, the relationship formed between them all too alike to what she had had with andrea once upon a time ⸺ still much too sore a subject to acknowledge with more than a passing thought. sister's loss weighs heavy on her conscious, even if there was nothing that amy could have done to change fate; blood still stained her hands, visions of her final moments still haunted her dreams. despite the fear that fills her being, amy finds herself disappointed that they would not get the rest that they so desperately needed; that was a stone’s toss away and so cruelly ripped out from underneath them.
head shakes once in response to @hrtached's inquiry, too afraid that if she were to even whisper a reply the strangers below would hear and be on them in a second. bag secured on her back with what little supplies they’d been able to gather earlier in the day, amy flexes her fingers instinctively around the strap over her shoulder in some sort of absentminded reassurance. ❝ the exon ? yeah ― i remember. ❞ she hard swallows down her doubt, pessimism the devil on her shoulder, whispering promises of their failure, of their inevitable deaths: she inhales a sharp breath through her nose to silence it. they move at a snail's pace, tip-toeing across the carpeted floor with baited breath ⸺ anxiety praying that the floorboards underfoot were not of the creaking variety. when she finally peaks over the windowsill her vision tunnels, the ground below suddenly miles away. voice is shaky when she speaks, attempted lightheartedness falling flat, ❝ if we aim for the bushes, what do you think the likelihood of us getting fatally impaled by a branch are ? ❞ (cont.)

drunken confession.
your muse is drinking with mine and has been given the chance to question my muse anything they want to know. some may be triggering, others won’t. send me a 🍻+ the question you want to ask my muse for a tipsy, drunken ( honest ) answer.
“ what’s holding you back in life ?”
“ is everything alright? ”
“ when did you choose to give up ?”
“ what’s the kinkiest thing you have ever done ?”
“ how many have you slept with ?”
“ what’s your biggest secret ?”
“ do you believe in love ?”
“ what’s the meanest thing you have done ?”
“ what scares you more than anything ?”
“ have you ever considered running away ?”
“ do you love me ?”
“ what’s your dirtiest fantasy ?”
“ who hurt you ?”
“ what made you this way ?”
“ is there anyone special in your life ?”
“ why are you always smiling ?”
“ what lie have you told that hurt someone ?”
“ if you could do anything in world, what would it be ?”
“ who are you, really ?”
“ is there anything you regret ?”
“ what’s your biggest regret ?”
“ tell me about your first kiss ?”
“ what is your deepest, darkest fear ?”
“ is there anyone you regret kissing ?”
“ have you ever cheated, or been cheated on ?”
“ what is the most embarrassing thing in your room ?”
“ who have you loved, but they didn’t love you back ?”
“ is there something you have never told anyone ?”
“ when was the last time you cried ?”
“ how come you keep running away ?”
“ have you ever made someone cry ?”
“ if anything, what makes you hate a person ?”
“ what takes for you to fall in love, trust someone ?”
“ do you believe in true love ?”
“ what have you done that people would judge you most for doing ?”
“ do you regret letting me close ?”
“ is there someone you have a crush on ?”
“ what is the strangest place you have ever had sex ?”
“ tell me your most awkward date story ?”
“ do you ever get scared ?”
“ what do you really think of life ?”
add your own for further development.

“finish what you’re doing, we have to talk.”
“what have you done to yourself?”
“did you do something different with your hair?”
“it doesn’t do any good to get worked up.”
“when was the last time we had a real conversation.”
“are you in the witness protection program, or what?”
“there’s something wrong with me.”
“no, i don’t hate you.”
“hey stupid.”
“we’re aren’t them.”
“looks like i’ll live long enough to make you pay.”
“you know you’re wrong.”
“i don’t understand, why are you doing this?”
“now, before i say anything, promise me you’ll stay calm.”
“what makes me so special?”
“you have no idea what i’ve been through.”
“you really don’t have to do that, not for me.”
“did you really think you’d get a second chance?”
“how about we don’t do that.”
“i have a lot going for me, but humility is not one of them.”
“you’re the worst.”
“i don’t need you right now.”
“don’t just stand there, looking at me.”
“i thought you were supposed to call me.”
“take my hand.”
“i need you.”
“you’re allowed to need help sometimes.”
“for someone who doesn’t like to feel things, you sure feel a lot of it out loud.”
“when this is all over, i want it to be you and me.”
“why won’t you tell me what happened?”
“you don’t know what this means to me.
“i know it doesn’t make sense.”
“i’m trying really hard to keep it together.”
“i know you’re new, but we do things a little differently here.”
“your voice is putting me to sleep.”
“did you find what you were looking for?”
"you knew and you didn’t even warn me?”
“well, i guess that’s broken.”
“i thought it was part of the act.”
“you think u don’t know you’re only here because they sent you?”
“you promised to call me if you didn’t know what to wear.”
“you can keep a secret, can’t you?”
“how could you do this to me?”
“put the gun down, dearest. i have news!”
“i know you don’t have any reason to trust me, but you need to know something.”
“if you’re here to tell me what happened last night, someone beat you to it.”
“people think i’m weird.”
“i think i’m losing myself again.”
“you can’t be here.”
“i wish you’d come to the funeral.”
“do you know what today is?”
“so, you broke my favourite mug… and you’re breaking up with me?”
“i need to get out.”
“it’s like i’m cursed or something.”
“you are remarkably well-behaved tonight, what have you been up to?”
“you gonna eat that?”
“sir, the pony rides are for children only.”
“i don’t want you to worry about that anymore.”
“we’ll never make it in time.”
“you’d be late for your own funeral.”
“you should have seen it coming.”
“oh, good, you’re here! hold this.”
“why can’t you just be happy for me?”
“on a scale of one to ten, how do you feel about nachos right now?”
“is this how you flirt with everyone?”
“how much longer till we’re there?”
“what have you done?”
“it’s time for you to repay that debt you owe me.”
“where did you get that? who gave it to you?”
“what kind of mother has thoughts like that?”
“i know I haven’t been what you needed, but i’m here, and i wanna help.”
“i never want to hear you say that again.”
“you’re all i have.”
“i know it’s not perfect, but i did follow the recipe this time.”
“i was doing so well until you showed up.”
“don’t eat that! i made it ‘specially for our guest.”
“it’s not that i don’t like my life, it’s that i don’t have the energy to enjoy it.”
“how can you stand this place?”
“don’t take this the wrong way, but you don’t exactly blend in.”
“you need to stop.”
“i don’t like that look, what happened?”
“is that seriously your password?”
“what’s your problem?”
“you had no right to use it without asking.”
“oh, wow, you weren’t kidding.”
“i couldn’t trust my own parents to protect me.”
“i’m surprised you haven’t been arrested yet. wait, no, i’m not.”
“why do you want to help me?”
“ten bucks for that piece of crap?”
“we have to hurry, they’re coming!”
“hey, look what came in the mail!”
“do you want to get a drink or something?”
“please tell me you didn’t eat that.”
“the worst part is you didn’t even notice.”
“if i wanted help, i would have asked.”
“wanna tell me what’s going on with your grades?”
“you need to leave.”
“talk to me, okay? i need to know what’s going on.”
“i do blame you.”
“sometimes life deals you a bad hand, but you can still play your cards right and win.”
“you’re no longer useful to me.”
“i’m not good with sarcasm: if you don’t like me, just say it.”

because height difference
Feel free to edit however you see fit
Tall
“Hey I could totally use your head as an arm rest.”
“Can’t reach it now, can you?”
“..do you need me to grab that for you?”
“How’s it going down there?”
“Huh? Who said that? Oh it’s you. Sorry, you’re pretty far down there.”
“Sorry, I didn’t see you behind that grain of rice.”
“Is everyday like Attack on Titan for you?”
“Your height is cute. Don’t feel bad.”
“What? You’ll have to talk louder! I can’t hear you up here.”
“Jesus Christ when will I stop growing?”
“I need to buy another pair of pants because now I’mnearly too tall for these.”
“Why is your seat so close to the steering wheel?”
“I won’t make fun of your height. I wouldn’t stoop that low.”
“Walk faster.”
“Yes, I play basketball.”
“No, I do not play basketball.”
“Geez, I’m almost taller than this doorway!”
“Being tall has its perks. You’re a really great view from up here~”
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to put it up that high! I wasn’t thinking!”
Short
“I’ll bite your arm off if you use my head as an arm rest again!”
“Give it back! Stop using your dumb height against me!”
“Can you help me get that from the top shelf please?”
“I think I need a taller stepping stool..”
“Hey! I’m not that short!”
“Don’t mess with me. I’m closer to hell.”
“Can you give me a lift?”
“Put me down!”
“How’s the weather up there?”
“What is it like to be y’all and actually be able to reach stuff?”
“No! I’m determined to reach this myself!”
“All the best things come in small packages.”
“Thank goodness for heels…”
“Stop walking so fast. My short little legs can’t keep up!”
“I’m not short! I’m fun sized!”
“You’re literally a tree.”
“You’re 5′4, how dare you call yourself short!”
“Looks like we’re both out of luck. We’re both too short to reach shit.”
“Maybe if we stand on top of each other..”
“I’m gonna be the bigger person in this sit- hey! Quit laughing, you know what I mean!”

fatedtragedy, victoria williams .
victoria thinks them walking there at all makes them idiots but, she keeps that to herself this time. she’s well aware that she could just let amy go alone and if it was anyone else, she would. but, as much as she hated to admit it, she cared about the other woman. fingertips tap against the handle of her knife tucked into her thigh holster, carefully watching their surroundings as they approached the bridge to cross. victoria happened to disagree with her, not all of the humans left deserved their help. some people were cruel and wouldn’t care if they were good people. she kept that to herself. fighting the urge to roll her eyes, she inhaled a breath as she made sure the bridge was clear. ❝ we can cross, it’s clear. so, let’s go and save your damsels in distress. ❞
there were few things in this life that amy found sacred enough to defend with her everything she had, and among them, human life sat at the top of the list . whether they deserved a sense of safety or not, she believed in the depths of her heart that everyone was worthy of a chance . ❝ i know you think this is stupid, but thank you for coming with me . ❞ words are quiet and genuine, amy knew more than anyone that if she had to do this alone, the likelihood of her returning back to camp unscathed dwindled tenfold . gaze lingers over the area, a small group of walkers shambling into the distance seemingly the only threat as amy finally moves from her spot and begins making her way across the bridge . she prepares herself for the worst as feet slowly approach the lone vehicle, bloody handprints pressed into the glass on both sides . a thick layer of grime covered the windows, obscuring amy’s view into the car . knuckles tap once on the door, and she waits patiently for some kind of response . after a prolonged silence, amy swallows hard and wraps her fingers around the handle . ❝ ready ? ❞

roseguided, gloria davis .

𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐑 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐖, 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄. gloria can only really speak for herself && not the others around her⸺while she’s adjusted somewhat well, others aren’t as lucky. some people buck up && decided they wanted to survive, for whatever reason, while others crumpled && fell into themselves. at the beginning the world was divided into those who were tough enough for this new world && those who relied on the leaders. the dead didn’t discriminate between who they did or didn’t decide to tear apart, eat, && turn into one of their own⸺they just did it without a second thought, without any thought at all. ( the groaning && snarls of the dead are simply background noise at this point, a 𝓽𝔀𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓭 type of white noise that gloria hardly noticed anymore ! their groans let her know when danger was near, when death had an opportunity to knock on her door once again. the difference between now && before was that she could fight these demons && actually win. ) ; the dead now become heaps on the floor, gloria momentarily sheathing the blade back against her thigh. head turns when the other woman speaks, ❝ that’s a good idea , actually. if this were a 𝙼𝙾𝚅𝙸𝙴 i’m sure the watchers would be screaming at us not to. ❞ a slight laugh is pushed from her chest, lips momentarily turning upward. blade is drawn once more, held tight in her grip. ❝ be careful, alright? yell for me if anything happens… you know these fuckers like to jus’ pop out, so be on your guard. we can drag them outside when we’re done. ❞ one more nod of reassurance is given as gloria parts ways with amy to check the next room.
it was alarmingly clear from the very beginning that this was not the type of world that amy harrison was built for . but over time, she had become one of the rare few that had adapted to it, still holding on to remnants of who she was while simultaneously hardening herself to the constant death and decay and loss . it hadn’t been easy, and there were still moments where amy thought she may be too sensitive to go on, but she persisted nonetheless if not for herself, then for those who were not strong enough to do so on their own . her confidence wavers dramatically from moment to moment, at an all time high before taking a nosedive into territory similar to giving up . she thinks, if she were alone in all of this, she would have succumbed to those dark thoughts a long time ago .
a deep breath is exhaled through flared nostrils as amy surveys the room they were currently standing in, cluttered and a mess but it’d make due enough for the night . ❝ hell, i want to scream at us not to, but i want to get this over with as soon as we can . ❞ memories come flooding back no matter how involuntary, of the world before the end of everything : of normalcy, of enjoying life and not having to worry over the dangers of the undead that lurked around each corner . it was a time that she yearned for, but knew would never return . this was their new normal . ❝ yeah, you too . ❞ weak smile passes over amy’s features as the two separate, feet guiding her up creaky steps to the second floor . she makes her way room to room in astounding silence, a single walker stirring to life in a room furthest from the stairs and taken care of easily enough . she takes her time perusing each room, keeping an eye out for anything worth taking . when she returns to the first floor, amy drops her bag by her feet and reholsters her knife . ❝ all good ? ❞
