Been meaning to write a somewhat dark GaaSaku fic 😭 and what makes it even better is that I commissioned the great @kumeramen to draw something for it and my god, she never disappoints. I will be back for a better review (screaming session 🤣) of her art, but for now, everyone, please enjoy~

Seriously, she is worth every penny, every cent! I need to work harder, so I can commission more art from her!!

Oh Ari, it was my pleasure~ I know I already went crazy when you first showed this to me, but of course I’d go crazy again once the official version was shared with everyone!

Thank you again for the wonderful details you included, per my request! Like the bite marks and nibbles on omega Gaara’s skin because alpha Sakura was hungry and possessive, wanting to mark him as hers. The look in their eyes is so riveting as well! And the way Sakura is so domineering by holding him down by his wrist while cupping his face!

My gosh!!!!!! And the depiction of how they’d just kissed! Ariii, I know I said I already raved about it, but I find myself spiraling once again by how amazing this is and how I just love, love the idea of alpha Sakura straddling omega Gaara like this as she seduces him! It’s so yummy! It’s so delicious!!!!! I might even write a smutty oneshot for this one of these days!

IT’S JUST SO FRIGGIN AMAZING!

Also, special shoutot to @kamuikage and their wonderful, wonderful fic that’s of a similar theme to this fanart! Please, if anyone is interested in a marine-AU of alpha Sakura and omega Gaara, I highly recommend. KamuiK specializes in amazing slow-burn fics and only 1 chapter is out, so there will be some buildup, but my god, the tension and the promise of more is absolutely tantalizing!! I just love the banter going on already!

You know I’m a sucker for GaaSaku. Like holy shit, I think I died and went to heaven with these practice drawings. Like, oh my god, I don’t know if I have the words to express properly how I feel right now.

Not to mention, those little stories you add with your drawing! Even with practice! Like on the right side where Gaara kisses Sakura and he leans in because he wants more! And because Sakura wants it as well, she doesn’t pull away. I can imagine their arms entwined together, his tongue in her mouth as he ravenously tastes and plunders. Oh my gosh, and then the third image of Sakura looking dazed while Gaara seems so enthralled, like he wants more. Heck, you can just restart these 3 images again where he goes right back at kissing her hungrily!!!

Or wait! Perhaps this entire practice set is story itself?! Starting from the left with an innocent kiss leading to something more as Gaara realizes just how delicious she tastes. A small little peck, a press of their lips, but she’s so soft and so sweet, that he can’t help the stroke of his tongue on the seams of her lips and because Sakura is also weak for him, she can’t help but give permission, opening her mouth. And then Gaara absolutely noms with the image on the bottom, taking advantage of her being so agreeable. And then the image on top in the middle… fufufu

If I may be so bold… I’m now getting precursor vibes from this image to the spicy commission you did for me of Sakura and Gaara getting it hot and heavy at the Kazekage’s office. Him attacking her neck like that just made my mind leap!

💋 practice with GaaSaku

😭 it’s an honor and a privilege to see how you grow and evolve as an artist. I’m always blown away by everything you draw and post.

The first one is so amazing and dreamy with the colors you used to show the reflection of the night lights. And there’s also such a 90s anime vibe to it all that just makes my nostalgia come alive. It’s beautiful and whimsical. The happy mood of it all just makes that tender happiness even stronger. I don’t know the backstory for this, but based on how they’re dressed, it almost feels like “run away bride” with their sneakers on and Shisui and Sakura having run away from the wedding. The look of no regrets on Sakura’s face is beautiful, her proud smile as she holds onto Shisui’s hands. I’m so, so amazed with your level of detail with the backgrounds and the use of color for the lighting. So much practice and thought you must have put into it all!! 🥺

The second one is also so endearing, especially with Shisui holding back Sakura’s veil so that she could eat. There’s also something really sweet about them eating something comforting like a hot bowl of noodles after making such a heart pounding strong decision (if they really did run away from a wedding together, that is, lol). The steam effect you drew is also amazing!! I also love the softer brush you seemed to use for the background. Almost adds to the “blurred” effect of a photo where the focus is more on the people rather than the background because Sakura/Shisui and the food around them are of a sharper focus. If that was intentional, that detail is amazing!! The color for Sakura’s eyes are also so, so gorgeous!

The third one is so goooood! Tugs at the hear-strings so much! The way you capture expressions are fantastic and I think is another sign of you evolving. I remember your old comics and you were great then, but you just seem to improve every time. That tender look on Shisui’s expression makes my heart clench while Sakura looks so happy, lost in his eyes as well. The lighting, again, adds to that 90s anime feel, which I love so much. Them in their little runaway motorcycle as they kiss under the night-sky, ready for new beginnings.

I just read your fic Just a Little Strategy and oh boy I am in love with it. I'm not sure if you do part twos but if you do release a part two of it I'd definitely be sat and reading it repeatedly

There will be a part 2. Have it outlined and everything. The issue is time, energy, and inspiration lining up at the same time 😭 especially the time and energy part.

you thoughts on Izuna x Sakura?

I’m a manga only kind of gal, so I’m unfamiliar with the liberties the anime took with him, but I love how the fandom explores Izuna.

Sometimes I agree with the depiction of him being so passionate and fueled by hate, but other times, I enjoy how he’s the “softer” one between him and Madara. Like in that flashback in the manga, how he’d supposedly willingly sacrificed his eyes to Madara for the greater good of the Clan.

Because of that lack of canon material, I feel like there’s a lot of potential for Izuna x Sakura in the fandom land. Maybe someday I’ll write something for them with the right plot. 💕

@kumeramen !!! I saw your art summary of 2024 and saw something that looked like SasoSaku and ended up hunting this down because I completely missed it!!! 😭

It's so beautifullll! I love the dark intensity of the background with the reds and the blacks, including the darkness of the shadow beneath them! And the emphasis of Sakura’s features with the red highlights on her skin!!! Sasori is a short king, so I love how they're more eye level here. It adds to the tension, the way their eyes are locked together like that.

I love Sasori's fingers. Long, artistic, perfectly fit for him. Sakura looks almost dainty and frail beside him with his hands around her like that.

This is so beautiful!! So intriguing! Always a pleasure to see your art! 🩷

Another year another art~🖌 I still able to indulge in drawing for myself, but this year got me unpredictably busy as I open commissions for the first time slowly on March and April and then even busier on July to November. It was such fun and genuinely enjoyable experience! I'm hoping to open up again with different type of commissions next year around~! Other than that, I also simply wish I could do more for my newfound fandom though as well as drawing for funsies again😋Anywho, happy new year everyone~!!

I apologize in advance that I can't comment on them all, but I've been dying to write about your punk!Akatsuki for so longggg!

I, by no means, am knowledgeable in punk or piercings or anything, but in the words of Ari, by golly, your art is so striking and beautiful. Total signature @hallous with those smoldering eyes and fierce attention to detail!

Like this Sasori one, his cold stare just makes me ascend. And the sharp dips of his collarbone and neck, emphasized by the lines and shadows/lighting. The shades of color for his hair are so gorgeous and the layers to them. Since I know you like SasoSaku, so damn it, Sakura, you lucky bitch! Probably the only one he'd allow to run her fingers through those pretty little red locks you've given him~ and oh my god, Sasori's eyes! Who said brown eyes are boring?! Under Hallous's skilled touch, they become bewitching with so many layers of color and detail. It's no longer just "brown", it's a glow of many different shades!!!

And then there are the other Akatsuki!! I know there were meanings behind the piercings, but I'm unfamiliar with them, which kinda makes me sad since all those nuances you probably put into them to cater to their personalities are probably going way over my head, but anyways!

My god, Zetsu with the shades of his skin! Obito with his scars!! And all of their eyes! Such vivid colors and details. They're completely mesmerizing! Konan absolutely blew me away because you captured her sharp cold beauty! And the flower tattoos you gave her fit so well with her color pallete!

I could just go on and on. 🥹 thank you for sharing such brilliant art with all of us! It spurs the imagination and makes me squeal with excitement!!

Oh kume, I absolutely adore your mind, because I also see the same qualities when it comes even to their taste in music! I feel like they complement each other well on that front~

I've already gushed and screamed about this drawing already, but I will never stop because it's fantastic! Awesome! Sweet! Adorable! With both of them so protective of each other and then Gaara doing a princess carry with a bashful Sakura when she notices Gaara giving her such a tender gaze!! Also the evolution of their clothes, with them maturing in even the colors and how Sakura’s clothes complement more of Suna's environment!

With your help, we were able to save Mousse's life and cover chunks of his vet bills (still had to sell my car to cover the rest, but our little guy lives!!) from January through May, cover some of my oldest kid's university tuition, and, after my dad just had heart failure this weekend and was rushed to hospital, we have hopefully enough to get my Dad a tablet and headphones that he will be able to use once his heart surgery ends (it has been going on all day), since he won't be able to be very active for a while.
