Let’s Talk Sigils

What is a sigil? 🥀

Sigils are an inscribed or painted symbol considered to have magical powers.

Sigils can help with anything, from eating healthier to gaining patience.

How do I create a sigil? 🥀

There are many ways to create Sigils, but here’s two simple ways to create one for yourself.

Example #1 🥀

On a piece of paper write what you wish your sigil to do.

(Ex: I will be more patient)

Then simply this statement, your subconscious will recognize it but others might not.

(Ex: I wi b mo pac)

With these letters create a symbol, any symbol you feel is right for this.

After you create it put all your energy into it,

(Tip: create Sigils whole full of energy for better results)

Forget about your sigil, leave it somewhere hidden, under your phone case, the bottom of a back pack, etc.

If it doesn’t work immediately be patient

Example #2 🥀

Write down an affirmation

(Ex: I am patient and calm)

Remove all vowels and repeated letters

(Ex: M P ND CL)

Assign each letter a number

(Ex: draw a chart with 1-9 and go through the alphabet placing the letters under the numbers as you go through… 1-A, 2-B, 3-C…1-J, 2-K, etc…. MPNDCL = 475433)

Place numbers 1-9 into a design and connect the numbers in a design that seems right to you.

Now draw your final sigil on a piece of paper, exert all your energy into the sigil then burn the paper with a small flame to activate it.

I feel the need to protect my house, so I prepared a few sigils (all found on @sigilathenaeum , great blog btw)

I went for a black and white style, but it didn’t feel right to let them like that. Plus, I didn’t feel like grounding to charge them and my crystals are kind of exhausted (oopsie). Watercolor seemed the best idea to me.

Hello! Question what are sigils and how do you use one of yours . I am having extreme trouble financially and I really need some help and ran into this. I am very open and am jus really looking for ways to be financially stable as quickly as I can. My intentions are pure, i promise you that. And i have no shame in my problem which is why I am not asking anom but would truthfully just be less anxious if I could just get some help.

Good info on sigils

Sigils 101

This was something I had trouble with starting out. All of my drawings came out “wrong” because I was making it too complicated and I could never connect with my sigils (and thus was never able to bring them into fruition). Since then I’ve learned some hints and tips to make this a frustration-free, enjoyable task and have made a multitude of sigils I have had connections to and felt shared energy with.

Keep in mind that when you are making your wish/goal/desire that you’re specific and clear. The example I used here wasn’t as specific as it can be - but generally you’ll want to be specific (i.e. lose weight can mean get cancer, tuberculosis, or be unable to eat; be beautiful is very nonspecific and could mean beautiful to a certain person or in a way you don’t want).

I always start my desire statement with “I will” to provide power to my statement - I will this into existence. Feel free to make your statement however you please - it’s your sigil and your rules.

Here below is my step by step guide to making a simple sigil (be creative as you want! This is bare bones basics) hopefully this can assist you if this is something you’ve had trouble with like I did!

In all honestly the #1 thing you should do when making a sigil is feel your spiritual energy, feel that desire, and feel the sigil that aligns with you! And have fun with it - mistakes are necessary on the journey to your success!
