Someone pointed out that there is so little left from Bucky’s shoulder, but I wanted to expand on that a little bit.

We can see what’s left of the old Hydra tech, it goes to his chest, shoulder and looking to be damaging his muscles and nerves. Because knowing Hydra, they don’t give a shit about Bucky’s pain.

With the new Wakandan tech you can see how much they had to remove in order to upgrade his arm. And we don’t know if they had to add some new tech to replace what Hydra had, but my guess is that they took their time to make sure everything was right and painless for Bucky so he wouldn’t be in pain, and since Wakanda can heal bullet wounds over night, it wasn’t a problem for them at all to help rebuild Bucky’s shoulder, or lack there of.

But with how close his new arm implant is, they must have done a forequarter amputation and made some adjustments to make sure everything was done right so he wouldn’t be in pain anymore.

As well as walk better instead of dragging that heavy arm
