I don’t miss my ex in the sense of still wanting contact with him, but I still feel heartbroken when I think of it all. I wanted it all so badly. I still wish it all worked.

So I bought a printer, supplies for the cards (envelopes, cellophane bags, paper cutter, ink) and I’m still trying to figure out what type of mailers to buy. It’s such a dilemma because the envelopes that are the most economically feasible are the ones that would probably bend and get damaged in the mail, and the ones that would protect the cards would cost at least 5-6$ to ship. Meaning, if I set up an Etsy store, which takes out an insane amount of your profit in fees, and I charge for shipping on one greeting card, I’d have to keep the price of my actual card so low for it to be appealing to a buyer at all. I would be making such a tiny profit off of stuff that took me hours to make and a thousand dollars in supplies to get going.
The postal system was never this bad when it came to packaging supplies and them charging so much. The prices of stamps are even insane now. The way the machinery works makes it so a tiny, lightweight envelope has to be priced as a package if it’s rigid. You can’t even buy cheap envelopes and put something stiff inside to save money because they will deem it a package and claim the machines won’t be able to process it.
I hate all this so much. My art prints didn’t sell, so I thought maybe doing greeting cards and offering people a cheaper product with my art on it would be a good solution but I’m literally losing money on it.
ai generated images on cards have flooded the Etsy search, too. It’s all so unfair.
I would have to charge like $8 for the card itself and then $4 shipping and although I've seen a TON of Etsy sellers who make cards charge than much, I feel like it's only because they've been selling for many years and have the following.

What is with so many women in this era telling other women they look much older than their age? A woman in her 20s or 30s will just be talking about her routine, and randos will be like “YOU LOOK 50!” Or “I’m older than you but look so much better.” And they very clearly don’t. It’s so fucking strange to care about something like that.

I put on Storm of the Century so often, it's insane. Comfort show. I guess I still remember when it aired, and I'm nostalgic for being a kid and being into something simple like tv shows with my family.
Murders, a blizzard, and Tim Daly's dilf character for four hours? YAASS.
