It is with sadness that I have to announce that starting in 2025, the “No Context Slayers and Lost Universe” account will no longer post content and will be in an indefinite hiatus. When I first started this account, it was nice talking about the Slayers series, it was nice then, but over time, the social places I was on (especially in a certain app) and the internet in general has become more toxic than usual and I didn’t enjoy doing as I once did before.

I have went through several parts in my personal life before and after the creation of “No Context Slayers”, some good, some bad, and some that left me in a very vulnerable and bitter state to the point that I may have had thoughts about ending myself. I even had thoughts about it not being a good idea of creating this account and getting into this franchise to begin with. I don’t have those thoughts now but I still feel bitter because of both it and having past arguments/conflicts with my mom.

I’m fine with people making their own “no slayers/lost universe” accounts as I feel that they might be bigger slayers fans that could handle and do it perfectly better than I ever could to be honest.

The truth is, I was having self doubts about me keeping this account afloat as I was focusing on other things and losing interest in it; that and also a lot of changes that are happening in my life, some that I might not even be aware of yet and I’m not confident enough to keep this account alive. For now, this account will remain as an archive.

I’m sorry for any of my past mistakes to those I have made to. So this is good bye and please don’t refer to me by my old username if you somehow know what it is. If I was to delete this account I’ll let you know as I can. I hope you have a good new year than the one you and I went through this year. This is for the best.

I’m sorry to say this but Takeshi Tamiya, the person who was responsible for starting The First Slayers Movie as well as worked on all of the Slayers Movies And OVA has sadly passed away today. May he rest in peace and my condolences for his loved ones and the people who knew him.

He is a wonderful senior who caused a stir in Something Yoshimatsu-sensei's Slayers behind-the-scenes manga, "I Did It, Uncle."

The person who first started the Slayers anime adaptation.

(The movie version before the TV version.

I loved him so much.

We pray for your soul to rest in peace.

During the big gathering for the first movie, when I was running around confused, he called out to me, "Araizumi Sensei!" ( ´ ◡ ` ) and helped me relax...

"Rina-chan is so cute! I love her ♥ " he said...

He was a really wonderful man.

Thank you for all the wonderful works you have brought to the anime industry.

Any wishes for next year/ Slayers 35th Anniversary and Anime/First Movie’s 30th Anniversary as well?

I honestly miss Kurt Stoll as Xellos and him voice acting in general, while the most recent English voice actor does an alright/average at best job as him and I grew to like him portrayal more in Evolution-R, it’s just not the same. I hope he comes out of retirement but I highly doubt that sadly.
