An anime where the art style seems to have a huge problem with Same Face Syndrome, all the characters fall under like 5 diferent types and every single person of the roughly same age and gender look like the same damn character wearing different wigs. There's a whole episode about how someone changed their haircut and the protagonist spends the whole episode trying to awkwardly avoid situations where they'd be forced to admit to the New Hair Person that they actually aren't 100% sure which friend they are.

Halfway through it turns out that the protagonist is face blind. The art style is deliberately like this as a way to illustrate how they can't fucking tell most people apart by face alone.

Every time a streaming service puts out a new show with deliberate focus on diverse casting and featuring queer characters, refuses to devote any marketing budget to the show at all, and then cancels it for not getting enough hype, we should be allowed to ritually sacrifice an entertainment executive.

Gonna say something unpopular - I refute the idea of Armand as a master manipulator, and I don't care if it's canon or fanon. I view him as an overthinker, and yes, there is a difference. A master manipulator implies someone who's driven by power, control, or influence, whereas the motives of an overthinker lie in anxiety or fear. These are not necessarily mutually exclusive, and even in Armand's case, it's not a clear demarcation. But this is a character primarily driven by fear of abandonment, a deep and desperate desire to be loved and needed, and whose actions for self-preservation are very, very reactive, not strategic. Armand is the kind of character whose primary instinct is to overanalyze every single interaction, because how else would you be when you've always been abandoned by everyone you loved (and often, love that was extremely conditional or used to abuse Armand). Constantly changing himself to fit into his companions' wants, inserting himself into situations so as not to be rejected again, using his powers to manage emotional fallouts - these are not the actions of a master manipulator, this is someone who lies awake at night worrying over a remark he made three centuries ago to someone who's long gone. Most importantly, his actions are so self-sabotaging that any master manipulator worth his salt would be offended to be slot alongside him.

I love, love, love, love, Armand. I think about him 25/8.

Pit bulls have a reputation for dog fighting and aggression, but violent dogs are only products of their environment. Pit bulls might be wary towards strangers out of protectiveness for their families, but are known for loyalty and affection towards their “pack”. They make great family and guard dogs.

Just, Charles might believe he’s inherently violent, but he’s protective, loyal, and very affectionate. No matter people’s misconceptions of him.

I have a knight of the Round Table OC who is an absolute bimbo and I initially wrote him to be an affable, charismatic, sweet slutty gay knight who had the spirit of chivalry but was not particularly bright or martially talented and was destined to die a gruesome death but I can’t do it now, I love him too much. Emotional crutch Sir Frat Bro. The whole storyline about the horrible fates of kindhearted optimistic young men in this dark post-Roman feudalist hellscape scrapped. Every sword thrust misses him my millimeters, everyone who intends to betray him eats shit and dies, the fairies are conspiring to help this idiot. He shows up to tournaments, is happily thrown from his horse immediate and is a very good sport about it. Everybody is like “How is that guy still going?” but he is and he loves life.

I hate that every social media platform has switched to a video centric format. I fucking hate it. Every app is so loud now. Instagram used to be quite. You could put on music and scroll to see what people are up too. Nope. Now everything has music on it or gets turned into a reel. This is why I fuck with tumblr. It's the quiet website. Just you and and the voices.
