Thinking of keeping my Luz and Hunter sibling agenda here even though it’s canon (i think) because I know I’m gonna freak out over anything about them and I want that blog to stay mostly about only Luz

Okay so summary for the Luz and Gus fic I’ll put it under a readmore

(This is before Thanks to Them)

So Luz was looking through her hats and stuff for Gus to hide his ears in public, but they couldn’t find anything that Gus liked

And then Gus runs into their room with her old purple headphones and recognizes it as the thing he used to listen to lofi before. He wants to wear them because they block out sound and, as much as he loved them, the cars were too loud for him.

Luz (after readjusting the headphone size cause they were slipping off his head) was like “Yeah, these are mine, you can have them though if you want! They’re good with dealing with overwhelming noises.”

Which just made Gus happier cause they were from his big sibling Luz

And this was kind of where I got stuck on with transitioning (although there were other factors)

But they soon make it to like… Best Buy or something so Gus can get like an iPod that he can listen to music with.

And they buy it, but Gus sneakily buys a pair of blue headphones, because he noticed Luz getting more anxious throughout the trip so he wants Luz to keep her own.

The trip home Gus was vibing to music while Luz, along with talking to Gus, sometimes was looking at something which he noticed.

So Luz’s POV, they recognized some teens who kept following and making fun of them. She was frustrated, understandably, but continued ignoring them because they didn’t want to disturb Gus

Then the teens started poking fun of Gus’s headphones and his stuffed turtle (I was going to mention it in the beginning but Luz gave him her stuffed turtle and Gus named him Alasdair Turtinand)

And Luz just snapped at them, but they didn’t get too far because they noticed Gus’s wide-eyed look at them. Luz felt guilty for bringing him into this so she just scurried them home

I don’t know where I was gonna have them end up, but they’re alone, away from the other teens. They’re sitting in silence, and then Luz apologizes for earlier, which Gus replies that she had nothing to be sorry for

Gus then asks them, “You said these were good for dealing with overwhelming noises. Did you… need these?”

Luz, being an overwhelmed neurodivergent kid, did need them. But they probably don’t even know what ADHD is so they didn’t say that

Luz just explained that she also just bought them to help zone out background noises, but they eventually were used to deal with anxiety with other people

He asked why Luz gave them to him if they needed them, and Luz responds that Gus looked so enthusiastic about the headphones and she wanted him happy if he was going to be stuck here

The boy plopped the headphones back on Luz’s head and Luz was like, “Don’t you want these?”

And then Gus reveals the blue headphones he bought earlier and says, “I would want to be headphone buddies more :)”

And then idk Luz starts sobbing or something

Thinking of scrapping the Luz and Gus fic I had but I still think the idea isn’t bad, should I just do like a summary of the idea?

There’s something a little funny to me how Hunter’s watermelon pjs actually kinda contrast with Luz’s pjs

I realize now there’s probably an implication that Belos attacked that car in the episode but I originally thought he just got run over

Luz’s azura outfit is purple and white and Hunter’s outfit is yellow and black together they make the nonbinary flag in this essay I will-

Did anyone else feel genuine depression from Luz during this episode?
