It’s midnight on Halloween.

I was sitting along in my living room in the dark (playing horror games in my full vampire halloween costume, like you do), when I went to the kitchen to get a snack.

In the darkness of the kitchen, I saw a strange form on the floor.

I flipped the lights on to see this:

This was not here earlier.

I did not see or hear my parents move this chest here before they went to bed, despite the living room being right next to the kitchen.

I have never seen this chest before in my life, at any location in the house.

This feels like the start of a horror movie.
