I was halfway through a semester of biology lab before realizing that two out of the four people in my lab group were identical twins. In my defense, they never talked about being siblings, one sat across from me and the other beside me, so I never saw them side by side, and I’m also mild to moderately face blind. 😂

All this to say, I would either have my mind BLOWN by a trick like this, or completely fail to notice. Haha.

If you had an identical twin that you get along with, you could probably have a lot of fun by getting to know other sets of identical twins and then pulling pranks with them.

Like seeing two people who look exactly the same close proximity to each other? Yeah that's totally twins. But imagine being in an art gallery where there's a group of five people on the 1st floor, and you go up the stairs and ???? the exact same group of five people is also there?? And you didn't see them pass you at the stairs?

sometimes it's not even enemies to lovers. sometimes you get handed the leash of a snarling, barking dog against your will and realize with dawning horror that you are now responsible for teaching it not to bite

there is something to be said for going to zoos and aquariums on weekdays to avoid school-aged crowds but going to the aviary on a weekend is fun because going into big greenhouses and watching toddlers who just learned to walk encounter loose tropical animals taller than they are is part of the overall experience for me.

to me a three year old is just as much an entertaining and strange beast as an egret. and here they can interact directly. incredible.

my friends and I have created a game we call Quipposting, where you play quiplash but you roll a wheel full of character archetypes, and whatever it lands on, you all answer as if you are like, a wizard or cowboy. This legitimately makes quiplash go from a fun enough game to an S+ tier absolute unabashed banger

And if you can’t support the board, look at your local Friends of the Library and/or library foundation group. Is it full of people who don’t want to have a credit card to purchase anything for the library because “using a credit card online is not safe and will lead to your identity getting stolen every time!!!” (Yes, that happened, along with many other ridiculous nonsense)

See about getting in with that organization and see what the library actually needs. Most of them DON’T NEED BOOKS. They likely need money for programming, technology, maintenance, and staff support. They need help promoting their services, they need private investment, they need internet from this century.

And most of all, they need people to support them. Be that person. Do all of the above.

I did this art nouveau tiger a few years ago for the Year of the Tiger. I decided to take another crack at it and I feel like it came out pretty cool. I had no reason to make someone ride a tiger but I don't think I really need a reason to make someone ride a tiger.
