Chosen T-shirt designs

For the first design, I chose to make it to do with the band's song 'JOY' which is very popular. By posterising their single cover, I made it into a print for the front of the tee. Back printed t-shirts are way more likely to sell simply just because of the way they look. The pack print reads 'there's no joy' which is a lyric from the single 'JOY'.

For the second design, i based it around the new single 'bleeding' I incorporated the two single covers of 'bleeding' and 'so long' to create a graphic print. On the original pircture, there was a dounut ring on top of the mini keyboard. I replaces the doughnut with the bands logo. Just underneath it reads 'I'm still here' this is a key lyric in the bands song 'bleeding'.

The 3rd design is a T-shirt highlighting the EP. It's not the exact design from the EP cover, but it uses the keys on the front of the t-shirt. The simplicity is really cool with the t-shirt, it's minimalist.

The back print consists of the EP tracks. I also incorporated the 3 coloured keys on some of the text, so that it ties in nicely with the front of the tshirt.

CD / VINYL COVER

After I'd finalised the front cover, a lot of vinyl covers let the image on the front bleed onto the back of the vinyl cover. I tested it out with the key's and i really like the image it created. The back is very simple compared to the vibrancy of the front cover and i then stacked the EP contents using the same font from the cover artwork. The simple grey colour of the text is really effective.

This was the vinyl mockup. This included the cover and the vinyl sticker. The colours on the inside sticker compliment the front cover because of their vibrancy.

I then created a CD mockup. CDs will usually include a small book inside, either including lyrics, pictures or artwork etc.

This was another green screen camera overlay I used. I really like the effect of this video. I cropped the frame again more because it looks more nostalgic. The haze and bad video quality are purposeful with the intent it looks very nostalgic.

Once id made the video, I then added different green screen effects over the original video. Though I used a camcorder, I wanted to take the film look a stage further, so it looked really authentic, i also cropped the video size so it was more camcorder-sized like they were in the 80s and '90s.

Presave video (version 2)

This was the second video i exported. I took out the 'presave' because that can be said in the caption and for such a short video, there was a lot of information. I included a clip of the singer so that it will link with the next post the band uploads. Ended on a black screen for dramatic effect.

I also chose the beginning of the song for the teaser because it doesn't give much away to the listener, but this clip anticipates that the song was about to drop.

Presave video

This video will be posted to the band's socials once they have sent their song off to the distributor, usually the wait after can be up to 2-4 weeks. Pre-saving a song is really helpful for musicians because it will boost their song in the Spotify algorithm.

This was the first video i exported

In this shot, i exported the words 'may 24th' with the text outline too thin, so I will redo the video with thicker lines.

In this shot 'bleeding' floods the screen. I prefered it when it was smaller because the video can also be used on stories if the text is smaller.

Zine Idea

I had an idea to create a zine for the band, it would enable fans of the band to collect a one-off piece of art dedicated to the band's EP.

Page idea: These were some images taken on a film camera at the same time as the bands first single 'JOY', they a 'behind the scenes' of the image used on the cover.

i upped the contrast, and vibrancy, i realised a soft haard brush was best to create a glow behind each key, because these lines were too thick. this was me initially working out what i needed to use to get the desired affect.
