I've rewritten Chapter 20 like three times now LMAO and it's still not where I want it to be. Any tips for creative/writing blocks?

I feel like my desire to write comes in waves. Last week the idea of opening up my laptop was insufferable.

This week the idea of doing anything else makes me want to crawl out of my own skin. Soooooo with that being said, I'm hoping to have a new chapter out soon + finally get around to writing those other ideas I've had in development for months!!

Okay, stay with me now... Academic Rivals to Lovers Barty and Lily

Barty and Sirius match each other's freak!

Sirius is sorted into Slytherin but he can't stand anyone in his year. When Barty finally comes to Hogwarts they hit it off immediately. They'd run that house like the military.

Or instead of Remus becoming an honorary Skittle post-prank it's Sirius. He hates himself but Barty is fascinated by Sirius's darker side. He genuinely thought that there wasn't anything interesting about Regulus's shitty older brother.

Or or, Sirius infiltrates the Death Eaters as a spy instead of Remus (with the wolfpacks). Regulus is just so grateful that his brother is back, Evan genuinely couldn't care less, but Barty? Oh, Barty is so suspicious. He keeps testing Sirius, trying to break him, and it becomes a little game between them.
