Another Adventure through Hoenn!
Well I’ve started my journey back into Hoenn, recruited two new Pokémon upon getting there, a Torchic and Poochyena who I nicknamed Flare and Snowflake respectively. After we arrive at the nearest Pokémon Center I brought over some of my other teammates who I hadn’t taken on a journey yet; Kabuto, Aerodactyl, and Steelix. Everyone seemed pretty ok with each other. The first gym was pretty tough for the team and Steelix wouldn’t listen all that well, but after the match he was better at listening to my directions. Our second gym battle went great and we received the Knuckle Badge! The team was so excited at doing so well this time around! A little later Torchic evolved into Combusken, I was so proud of her! We eventually made it to Slateport City where Snowflake and I entered a Pokémon Contest at the Contest Hall there. To our disappointment we lost, I gave comfort to Snowflake that she did great. After I changed out of my contest clothes and brushed Snowflake’s fur I was approached by a lady. She explained she was an attendant at the Hall and that she designed costumes for the use at the hall, but lately she had come across some Pikachu’s that loved to cosplay and wear costumes. Our display in the Coolness contest really impressed her and she asked if we’d take a Pikachu that loved cool costumes and contest on our journey. With that Glitter joined the team. I entered several Cool Contests with Glitter and made it up to qualifying for Master Rank in the coolness division. Though our competition was so tough we haven’t been able to win a Master Rank yet. Not long after we left, Snowflake evolved into Mightyena! The whole team was so excited for her! After getting a rest in we headed to the next gym over in Mauville City. The place is huge! And there were so many stores! We looked around before arriving at the gym. Aerodactyl, Steelix, and Glitter were all a great in battling Wattson’s team. I was so proud of them when we were handed the Dynamo Bade! Currently we’re in Verdanturf Town as I decide on where to head next
ENTRY 2: Evolution of Fire & Water
Today we traveled up Mt. Chimney, Flare was on fire in our battles along the way. It was only after we started descending from the peak that we battled a wild Spoink, after Flare beat it she began to evolve! I was so amazed at her evolution that I hugged her with a huge grin! She was equally surprised and happy at reaching her full evolution! We stopped in at Lavaridge Town right after for a rest and celebration at their hot springs. Flare didn’t mind it so much since the water was so hot. Afterwards we headed straight for Petalburg City to challenge its gym and leader. I used Kabuto for the majority of the gym, but because of my incompetence in not rejuvenating his energy with an Ether he fainted before we got to the Gym Leader, Aerodactyl though took over and finished the final Gym Trainer. I rushed to the Pokémon Center right after that, Kabuto deserved to have his chance at the Gym Leader! After he was healed and ready we went straight back and stood before Norman with determination. Kabuto was outstanding as he took on all of Norman’s team. As the last one fainted Kabuto evolved into Kabutops! Proud didn’t even begin to describe how I felt that another of my team had evolved so soon. I congratulated my friend on becoming so strong and so did Norman as he handed us the Balance Badge. Before we left Norman suggested we head East for the next part of our journey. This proved a problem as only Kabutops was able to learn Surf but being as we were about the same size I didn’t want to put that strain on him. Then I remembered there was an old friend of mine I recruited back in Unova. Stopping at the Pokémon Center I had Sharpedo transferred and switched out with Glitter. Thanks to Sharpedo we were able to get to across Route 118 and arrive at the Weather Institute the next day.
Entry 3: Storm, Stars, & Psychics
The Weather Institute was really cool, they had so much on weather all throughout Hoenn. After getting through the rain and into Fortree City we took a rest at the Pokémon center and got some practice in on Route 120. My team was ready and warmed up now for the Fortree Gym. Since it was a flying-type Pokémon gym I used Aerodactyl through the battles. He was excellent as his Rock and Flying attribute made him the best choice against flying types. He was quite proud of wining against Winona’s whole team single handedly. We went straight to LilyCove City afterwards. I checked out their museum first and was impressed by the art there. I checked the huge market next and then went to the beach, while there, after some consideration, I used the HM02 Fly to teach Aerodactyl how to fly with a passenger. With his strength it wasn’t hard for him to carry me, though I was glad we practiced on the beach. I was atad worried of falling off his back. As night came upon us I checked into the Cove Lily Hotel. The team and I slept soundly and awoke renewed. Before we setout to Mossdeep we stopped over at Mt. Pyre. Glitter wasn’t too happy that I switched her out with Sharpedo again. I took some time to clear my head on some painful memories and pay my respect to Pokémon of times passed. We had a picnic on Route 123 and then wen through Lilycove and Route 124 to arrive at Mossdeep City. The Pokémon Center was our first stop and then the Space Center there. The Gym was our next stop and I knew who I was going to have battle the Gymleader twins, Snowflake and Aerodactyl. After wining I decided I was going to go and try some diving with Kabutops and Sharpedo, though I did switch out Steelix and Glitter as he was a ground type.
Entry 4: Into the Deep!
Kaputops and Sharpedo were excited about going diving. We explored the depths of the Eastern Hoenn ocean routes from the port of Lily Cove City to that of Slate Port City. I sent Steelix back on home during this time since his size and ground attribute made him uneasy with this part of the trip. I considered sending Flare but she wasn’t about to leave simply because of some water and, honestly, I’d have missed her being around. She was actually quite helpful as she lit the campfires for us, keeping is warm from the cold night winds of the ocean. Shortly after we headed to the Pokémon League. I entered with Flare, Aerodactyl, Kabutops, Snowflake, Glitter, and Steelix. It was tough and exciting as we battled through the League, but eventually we won. After that we spent a few days more in the region and made plans to travel to a new region. Unfortunately a hard decision was made, Glitter was gonna stay in Hoenn. After a few days more making memories and making sure we could keep in contact, we left Glitter with the same attendant lady who had introduced us, each giving Glitter our best wishes. And with that I headed home to Orre to get ready for my travel to the region of Alola.

Fresh Start
(Not sure if this is official Pokémon art or fanart. If the later then please tell me and I’ll remove it.) Ok, First I’m going to explain my classification on the rare Pokémon and what can and can not be recruited, from what I’ve learned of pokémon from these past 20 some years. Legendary Pokémon I see them as a pantheon, making each one the only one until otherwise shown in the animes, movies, manga, and games; Arceus, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Regirock, Regigigas, Latias, Latios, Groudon, Kyogre, Jirachi, Azlef, Mesprit, Uxie, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Cresselia, Darkrai, Heatran, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Keldo, Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Hoopa, Volcanion, Magearna, Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapa Bulu, and Tapu Fini. As legendary each is unrecruitable unless shown in any of the official series or because they are of a stature that recruiting them wouldn’t make sense one way or another.
Mythical Pokémon These are species that have more than one that have been shown in the animes, movies, manga, and games(or stated by the series that more than can exist) but are still rare to find and capture; Mew, Mewtwo, Lugia, Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Entei, Suicune, Raikou, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Manaphy, Phione, Shaymin, Victini, Meloetta, Genesect, Diancie, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Nihilego, Buzzwole, Pheromosa, Xurkitree, Celesteela, and Kartana.
EXTRA INFO Now I will elaborate on a few that can or have been recruited/caught. And there are other bits of info here. 1. The Regi Trio all have a trainer as shown in the series, thus I won’t be posting my game capturing of them as part of the JE as recruiting, even though I have in the game. 2. The Legendary Beasts have been shown to have others of there kind so I will mention them in my story should I receive one via event or in-game capture. Though it will most likely be a shiny as I have a shiny Suicune from the Heart Gold/Soul Silver event with shiny versions of the three. 3. There have been two Mewtwos shown in the series, one male by its voice & depiction and the other female by it voice & depiction as its reaction shows it was surprised Ash knew it. Plus to add to the evidence of that is that both Mega Evolutions were shown to next to each other in the anime or movie, I don’t right remember which. And with the recent Pokémon Tournament game having Shadow Mewtwo it supports my theory. So because there are three in known media I assume more of them have been created in the Pokéverse and so in my JE world there are more. 4. Genesect falls into the same category as Mewtwo, there is more than one. But since how they even reproduce is an unknown I won’t bother with them at the moment. There’s just too little info. -_- 5. Deoxys is an extremely rare species as they appear when a space virus mutates upon entering the planets atmosphere. Thus one can be caught. 6. It is stated that if one of the Creation Trio is caught then Arcues has the power to recreate another of them. So it’s of the highest of rare recruits and thus making an exception to their being only one. But as to what happens when the first returns after the trainer dies or releases it, I’m guessing Arceus simply has the two merge together or something, 7. Now as for Latias and Latios, these two have been shown as sibling Pokémon and did have a father. I can not speculate as to what the father was as Manaphy has shown that a child will not always be the same as the parent. 8. There a few on here I haven’t listed as there is little info on them. Thus I won’t be using them in my entries except for perhaps lore. 9. Now I’m gonna address villians, they exist in the world of my Journal Entries. I will have encounters with them occasionally but my Pokéverse self is not the hero who takes down the organization. So don’t expect anything like him going up against Giovani. 10. Also, villains in this Pokéverse have worked on making pokéballs and other methods that capture pokémon, but not recruited pokémon.(Note: Reason is because the recruiting balls register the pokémon under to the trainers team.) 11. Pokéballs come in to sets; Recruit Balls and Capture Balls. The difference between these two is rather obvious. There are variants though. For example, the Recruit Master Ball is for recruiting pokémon who are too strong for an average recruit ball. And a Capture Master Ball is one designed to capture and enslave any pokémon without question, but also to capture pokémon that are extremely powerful. I will make a complete list of the different Recruit and Capture Balls in a later post. 12. Because my Pokéverse self originates from Orre, Shadow pokémon are a historical thing and still pop up. Additionally there are other methods and occurrences that twist or corrupt pokémon and other creatures, even humans. 13. There is a sordid history when it comes to humans in the Pokéverse, at one time there were places and people who openly and without worry of consequence enslaved pokémon as their own personal property, whether it be as trophies, entertainment, or some other horrid reason. This is how the organizations such as the Ranger Union came into being.

The Pokémon World I Travel
In this world of pokémon there are differences from the games, manga, and anime. Here’s a list. I will have a separate one for Pokémon and regions.
1. A Pokémon Trainer is just that, a trainer and not a master/owner. A master pokémon trainer is someone who has proven repeatedly they are good at bringing out hidden strengths and teaching their teammate(s). 2. A Pokémon joins a team of their own free will, depending if the trainer isn’t a villain, I’m not gonna be ignorant of evil doers. 3. Trainers in my writing have the base ability to help a Pokémon advance their abilities, this way they are trainers. This ability is present in humans of other careers with Pokémon. 4. Pokéballs are not devices that can capture Pokémon, they are transport devices. 5. While general speech between Pokémon and humans isn’t changed, their are devices being put into development, as they will be mentioned. 6. If I think of anything else there will be later posts and this post may be updated. Also, if you have a question then please ask it.
