Second part of the step is having a purpose. It’s effective to have purposeful and appealing landing pages, a good page designs should think of the needs of the user. Your visitors will be looking for meaningful engaging information related to their business.
Each page should have a clear purpose, such as gathering information so that you can build an email campaign and keep your customers abreast of latest developments and promotions.

Importance of developing a Growth mindset than a fixed mindset.
This topic has different meanings and approaches, the word growth mindset and a fixed mindset discusses how people can grow their mindsets, people can have a different mindset/altitude towards many things together with the goal they set to achieve. This research dives into how students with growth mindset are better than students with fixed mindset. Students with a growth mindset are strong in decision making, they easily adapt and survive in the school environments while students with fixed growth are the ones that turn off/quit school at any slightest difficulties.
People with a growth mindset easily outgrow the ones with a fixed mindset. This topic is also centred on how to teach students with a fixed mindset a better way to develop a growth mindset. Students with a fixed mindset are deemed intelligent as a factor that cannot be changed. Their role in motivation, personality, and development. It is remarkable to say our brains work differently because the students with fixed mindset easily get emotional when you correct them on a mistake while the ones with a growth mindset focuses on the mistakes and are willing to learn from the mistakes.
Nature is enormously powerful in the way that parents or teachers respond to kids in their praise or criticism. When parents praise the child's abilities in every aspect, when parents or other adults tell a child they are clever or talented, it leads to fixed mindset but when you praise her talent or ability the child no longer want to try something difficult, they want to keep looking clever. They will lie about their results to keep feeling that they are clever. When a dad praises a process of children's arduous work their achievements and scores encourage their growth mindsets.
Brainology is beneficial, it teaches the students how their brain can grow new with a stronger connection when they work hard, it takes them through their academics or studies and whatever they are having problems with. It also counters other students; they learn about brain science and how to apply it to their schoolwork.
In conclusion, growth mindset and fixed mindset both have positive and negative impact on kids and the society. The kids need to develop the love of challenges and the ability to stick with them. Being perfectionistic can be very damaging especially when it is accompanied by a fixed mindset. Teachers using growth mindset principle has taken most students to the top. One of the key points in the point includes importance of growth mindset and its impacts on every day of our lives. How growth mindset contributes immensely to shaping the affairs of our lives in general and the effects of a fixed mindset on children and society at large. More so, in the context of a growth mindset people will learn better and put them into practice better.

History of information and its impact to the society
The history and concept of information age and the impact of information to the society. The term information which simply means the act of telling or impacting knowledge through a system especially computers and other telecommunication platforms.
According to Professor Paul Duguid, a professor in the School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley explored on how information has become integral part of how we live our lives. With the help of technologies, it is easier to disseminate the right information’s. We live in an age where variety of information circulates all the time, it is also known as the Computer Age, Digital Age, or New Media Age. This era brought about a time in which people could access information and knowledge easily. One of the contributions of the information age is to use a different technologies as essential components in solving problems.
The circulation of Information solved the problems that made us and kept distance from each other. With the right information people will make the right decisions and do the right thing in the society.  There is an underlined believe that if we can get the truth out it will always rise against the force.
This topic also touched different angles on how information is shared with the help of technologies, there were many different inventions that came about because of the Information Age, one of which was the computer. The Internet allowed people to access information with the touch of a button.
The Information Age has made industrial countries stronger. With online companies being some of the most successful and economically stimulating businesses out there, economies receive more from them and keep our world turning. People are becoming more mature and more educated due to things like the computer and the Internet.
The Information Age brought about many new inventions and innovations. Many communication services like texting, email, and social media developed and the world has not been the same since. People learn new languages easier, and many books have been translated into different languages, so people around the world can become more educated. However, the Information Age is not all good. There are people in the world that believe they can live their entire life through the Internet.
Every era from the Stone Age up to The Industrial Revolution has led to the world as we know it. Without the information, knowledge, and discoveries of those from the past, we would not be where we are today. The past has shaped our present and will continue to shape our future.
In conclusion, the key point in this topic is to note that Information is power, information has shaped how we resolve issues by getting right form of information’s. Second point here is fact that Information is educative, searching for Information’s through technologies has shaped our lives in such a way that it teaches us how and where to search for the right information. Lastly, the right form of information keeps you ahead of the game in all ramifications, one of the significant things done by developers is setting up of google, it has eased the stress of where and how to get the right form of information.

Coding is the future
Coding, which is a language, is simply put. But that doesn’t stop the mysteries and the global misconceptions that swirl around it. Too often, coding is presented as difficult to understand and needlessly complicated. Why coding has a mystique?
Shahzad Khan, one of the lead instructors, breaks it down in one of his article,
“People think that coding is about sitting in a dark room writing thousands of lines of incomprehensible code. It’s not.” Khan has built a career on breaking down the complicated concepts of coding into easily understood concepts in our Introduction to Coding course, which allows students to dive right into learning programming language. “With the new high-level languages like JavaScript and Python, coding is more intuitive and closer to the English language than it has ever been.”
Just like with other languages, once you learn a coding language and how to use the tools of computer science to communicate, a whole new world opens up.
Coders have been known to maintain the mythology, though. When you talk about coding, practitioners can sound like persuasive. They tell passionate stories of how coding has changed their lives and the world. Famous lines of code have become legendary.
Steve Jobs famously claimed that everyone should learn how to write code because learning how to code teaches you how to think. That may be true, but this definition of coding is still our favourite: Coding is solving real world problems with existing technology.
And the barriers to entry are relatively low. “Coding is awesome because it allows you to build some amazing things if you have a working computer and the internet. No need to go invest in expensive equipment,” says Khan.
“Software is eating the world, so coding is already extremely important and will be even more so as we progress into the future. The right people who know how to code will save the world.”
The fact is that software is only getting more ubiquitous, finding its way into government and public policy. One look at the United States’ patchwork response to COVID-19, and it’s not hard to imagine how the right software at the right time could have lifesaving imply cations.
For others, coding is a calling and a way to express creativity not something you usually associate with computer science. “Creating something is so satisfying, and coding is the ultimate tool to do that.
“We are entering the Fourth Industrial Revolution where technology will dominate every domain. Currently, people are using coding for everything from detecting diseases to exploring outer space. This is just the beginning. Coding is completely going to revolutionize every industry and give birth to new ones.”
Ready to learn? Enrolling in a coding bootcamp is a great way to learn coding without investing years or thousands of dollars. Students learn and implement quicker than in more traditional courses, and the most successful learn to trust the process.

Website speed and optimization, the prons and cons.
Website speed optimization which means strategies and best practices implemented to make a website as fast as possible.
Web speed optimization offers different benefits like a higher conversion rate, lower bounce rate, and improved user experience.
Several studies have proven that website speed interrelates with other key metrics. For example, according to a recent study by a researcher, a B2B site that loads in 1 second has a conversion rate that is three times higher than a site that loads in 5 seconds.
Each additional second of load has made difference in conversion rate.
Steps to Optimize Website Speed are as follows,
The hosting provider, images, JavaScript and CSS files, and web fonts are just a few factors that can impact your website speed. To get the fastest website possible, you can optimize all these factors by following the steps below. While trying to be thorough, this list will form a comprehensive optimization strategy.
First step is by optimizing your website is by Auditing Your Site website, this means before making any changes that impact how your site loads and handles content, it is important to audit its current performance.
To start, you can use a free tool like GTmetrix or other tools applicable. It will assess your Core Web Vitals on mobile (by default) or desktop and let you know if you passed. It will also provide a color-coded score reflecting your site’s overall performance and identify opportunities for improving your score.
The second step is to prioritize potential fixes,Once issues are identified in the website speed , it's tempting to try to fix everything at once. But if you had unlimited resources and time, it is not advisable to use this approach.
Another step is by evaluating your current hosting provider, the hosting provider could be a potential source of speed problems While several factors could contribute to speed issues, including the geographical location of your provider, their physical infrastructure and the overall bandwidth of their network connection, the type of web hosting your website is using can also impact performance.
Considering a Content Delivery Network (CDN), when all data required to fully load your site is stored in one place, initial and ongoing load times suffer.
Another step is Optimize Your Image is to make your site more engaging and memorable, but they can also drag downloading times, especially if they’re high resolution. All the examples highlighted are part of the key steps to achieve this.

Brand video content is here to stay
There’s no lie that the industry is witnessing a shift in how content marketing is delivered to the consumers. The rise of stories and posts on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter has changed the way brands deliver messages to their audiences. While there was once a time when long pages of text dominated content marketing, today’s market is shifting toward the ephemeral, the fun and the visual part of marketing to entice their consumers into purchasing their brand.
Why Brand video content is here to stay
According to a study, 83% of marketers believe that video marketing is becoming more important for reaching and engaging with new and young audiences. Among millennial and generation z audiences, while two-thirds of social media users engage with a brand after watching a video posted on social media. Video marketing has reached maturity, and all indications suggest that it is here to stay.
Sight, sound, and motion have always been a powerful way to tell a brand’s story. On the web, brands can do so much more with video, and they are taking advantage of it. In recent years, there’s been an increase in “branded video content” online, and it’s attracting massive audiences. In fact, some of the most popular videos now on Instagram and YouTube come from brands.
These days, our inboxes are jammed with Mail chimp survey blasts and last-minute advertisements for the hottest deals at every retail store you have ever been.
Some critics believe that video marketing is headed in the same direction. They suggest that the medium of video is becoming highly saturated on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. As a result, videos facilitate less of our attention, and eventually, the user will scroll past them without paying them a second thought.
What the critics do not realise is that video content marketing and email marketing represent a classic apples-to-oranges comparison. On the one hand, email marketing is a “push” technique that directly contacts individual prospects and customers and attempts to incentivize repeat sales whereas, content marketing “pulls” new prospects to attract initial sales and leads.
An effective, differentiated digital marketing strategy plan should include traces of email and video marketing content. However, it is incorrect to suggest that video marketing will suffer from the same type of saturation as email marketing, as it is misunderstood as a medium fundamentally.
Video Content Marketing and Its Growth
Today’s consumers want to be entertained rather than scrolling through text or messages in an inbox. Consumers prefer to watch videos that are personalized to their interests and preferences. A recent study indicates that over 55% of consumers are interested in watching videos from brands they support and reflect their views and beliefs.
When done correctly, video content can make an excellent addition to a brand’s existing marketing strategy. According to a 2019 survey of business owners, 66% rank video as the most effective form of content for their marketing strategy and a medium of increasing growth.

A rock genre created by me with photoshop, this design observed the key principles of design which includes the contrast, proximity, alignment, and texture. It also has a combination of some design elements with mix of some primary and secondary colours to compliment the visuals. The font used is new is creating this design is new rocker font, the font is known to be a loud, harsh, screaming font but very attractive. The typography is structured to observe the hierarchy that comes with the message being delivered to the targeted audience for the concert. The background features smoky pattern effect which easily identify with the subject of the design. It is believed that this smoky effect is commonly seen at events such as rock concerts which was achieved with the help of the paint brush on photoshop.
Design elements were added in the background to fill up the white space to give an impression of depth and solidity. These design elements reflect the application of shapes (circles by lines and lines by circles) Lines by circles (located at the bottom left) was achieved by creating different sizes of circles next to one another on parallel horizontal lines and in different sizes. There is also utilization of contrast of position considering the positioning of these small circles placed next to each other.
The texts describing the location of concert, ticket price and date of the concert are aligned in block form. This text is placed inn hierarchy. The hierarchy places emphasis from the most important to the least important. The ticket price and venue name as seen possess a higher hierarchy in this category.

Making the Right Impact in Web Design.
Website is the most important element of online brand presence and it’s essential that you we design it right. Website is the platform where you nurture your bottom of the funnel leads to get conversions. Hence as a brand, you cannot afford any website fails that might cause your prospects to bounce off your website.
Your website should be designed keeping in mind your audience and should ensure that I provides good user interface and user experience. Making a good website design is important as people care about your design. Whether consciously or not every individual reacts to visuals and users are naturally drawn towards good design.
When it comes to website design, studies have shown that users quickly create an opinion about your brand based on your visuals alone and will often stop navigating your website if it is poorly designed. 75% of users make judgements about a company’s credibility based on their visuals and design.
When a user comes across an outdated website design, it creates a doubt in regard to their legitimacy, products or services leading them to navigate their competitor’s website. 94% of users’ first impressions of any websites such as healthcare, education is based on the design.
First impressions are a powerful too, and what your website looks can create a good impression or drive your visitors in the other direction. It only takes a user 50 millisecond to form a first impression of your website’s design. Users form them almost instantaneously. 38% of users will stop engaging with a website if the content and layout is unattractive. Poor web design doesn’t only affect your credibility but can also drive away potential customers.

What i Mean by a Good Design

An important phase “beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.” There are certain personal preferences in how people interpret design, but studies show that a lot of it is based visuals and layout. According to science and psychology, the idea is that we are drawn towards beautiful things and people inherently react to good design.

It is essential in a website to have all the elements in a symmetrical and aligned order to make it appealing to the user. A viewer’s mind-set is based on the design and usability of the website, how attractive it is, if the fonts, colours and images are correctly placed and if they can reach one tab to another in under 2 seconds. A good design applies those elements to create a consistent visual identity.

THE INTERNET AND THE PARADIGM SHIFT IN PUBLISHING
The advent of the internet without doubt has offered a brilliant and new dimension to the publishing industry. It has changed the outlook of publications over the years. From rigid system of producing hardcopy materials into soft production of great deal of digital forms of publications and has upped the ease of readerships’ access to great volumes of materials.
The internet has presented a broad outline of possibilities to the production of published materials from eBooks to blog posts, to audiobooks and to a plethora of other forms of online modes of publishing. The internet due to the fact that it offers a fusion of technology and media has not only changed the “hows” of publishing, but it has also affected the psychology and preference of consumers as it has impacted a shift of preference from consuming traditional ‘paper and ink’ prints to digitalized ‘derivatives’.
In the light of the indispensable contributions of the internet to the publishing industry in today’s world, the internet has really changed the publishing “ecosystem”. All information-related products have greatly benefited from the internet. The media has not been unaffected by this. The traditional newspapers have decided to publish their online editions because of the growing Internet user base. Online newspapers have brought the entire world to the reader's computer or hand, exposing them to all subject areas.
The internet has over the past decades, shaped the publishing industry in an entirely different fashion from what it looks like centuries and decades ago. The internet has affected every fabric of human endeavours and publishing is not an exception.

HTML FOR WEB DEVELOPMENT: BUILDING THE BONES OF YOUR WEBSITE
Hypertext Markup Language or HTML is a programming language used to describe the structure of information on a webpage. Together, HTML, CSS and JavaScript make up the essential building blocks of websites worldwide, with CSS controlling a page’s appearance and JavaScript programming its functionality. You can think of the HTML document as providing the bones of a webpage, while CSS provides the skin and JavaScript provides the brains.
A webpage can contain headings, paragraphs, images, videos, and many other types of data. Front end developers usually use the HTML element to specify what kind of information each item on a webpage contains for instance, the “p” HTML element indicates a paragraph. Developers also write HTML language code to specify how different items relate to one another in the page’s overall structure or document structure.
Every website you open in your web browser from social networks to music services, uses HTML. A look under the hood of any website would reveal a basic HTML code page, written with an HTML structure editor, providing structure for all the page’s components, including its header element, footer element, main content, and other inline elements.
HOW HTML WORKS IN A WEBPAGE
The HTML file plays a couple of significant roles in a webpage. First, we use the structure created by by the HTML code to reference, enhance, and manipulate elements on a web page using CSS and JavaScript. For instance, you could use HTML to mark all the headings on a web browser page, then pick the size and colour you want to apply to those headings to reflect your organization’s branding, or simply a visual design developed for the site.
Second, HTML text lets us indicate the roles of different structural elements to search engines and other services that index the content and summarize it for other users. For instance, marking the caption of an image with the “fig caption” element and enclosing the image and its caption in the “figure” meta element helps a search engine understand that these two pieces of content are related and that the caption describes the associated image.

Democratization of Digital media technology
Digital technologies have made possible the virtual relocation of every aspect of our daily lives, including banking, shopping, conducting business, communicating, gaining an education, watching movies and television shows, receiving packages, reading the news, and keeping up with the latest gossip. The phrases "technology" and "digital media" are ubiquitous in today's culture. The reason for this is that we now live in the "Information Age," also known as the "Computer Age," the "Digital World," or the "Known as the computer," in which knowledge is a commodity that can be conveyed to anybody, anywhere in the globe using readily available computer technology.
Digital technologies have made possible the virtual relocation of every aspect of our daily life, including banking, shopping, business, communications, education, movie, and TV programmed streaming, package delivery, news and gossip consumption and everything else you can think of. “These days, everyone seems to be talking about technology and "digital media.
The reason for this is because we now live in the "Information Age," also known as the "Internet Era," the "Digital Realm," or the "New Media Age," in which information is a freely distributable good made possible by widespread availability of computing technology. Mobile devices, sensors, high-speed Internet access, social media, wearable technology, full 360-degree video, vr technology, etc. have ushered in what some are calling the "Experience Age."
In conclusion, 84% of American homes have access to a computer, and 73% of those homes have a computer with a broadband Internet connection. The number of people using the internet rose from 738 million in the year 2000 to 3.2 billion in 2015. This is according to the International Telecommunication Union. From 7% to 43% of the world's population using the Internet is a seven-fold rise (Davidson). With the advent of cheap personal computers and the lightning-fast growth of the Internet, it has become abundantly evident that consumers are in charge.
In the age of digital media, the consumer may pick when and how they wish to consume entertainment. When news editors in the past worked as gatekeepers, they selectively let through materials they deemed "worthy of report." This is a drastic departure from previous journalism and content approaches. Looking back is necessary before we can move ahead. The question is, how did we end ourselves in this position? While the advent of countrywide radio networks, magazines, and large-circulation newspapers in the 1920s popularized the phrase "mass media," it was Johannes Gutenberg's creation of the moveable type printing machine in 1450 that made widespread production of print media even conceivable. Books were still too costly in the 15th century for the printing press to be considered a gadget of the "mass-medium period."
