Random mental images of Snake getting bored during long stretches between Philanthropy missions, to the point his usual methods of killing time don't help, and Hal helping by setting up mini missions. Like sending him out to annoy someone by covering everything in their office in colored post-it notes. It's harmless and lets Snake work off his excess energy while confusing the heck out of someone without hurting anyone

Which somehow spawned the mental image of the military trying to hack Hal (he's got all that data on all the Metal Gears he and Dave have trashed), and an annoyed Hal sends an amused Dave to glitter-bomb the Pentagon

I think coffee would be one area that Hal and David have different views on. Hal seems the kind to just make normal coffee and then pour a ton of creamer into it. Meanwhile David seems to me more like the kind to carefully source his beans and be particularly snobbish in that regard. He wouldn’t like fancy drinks with lots of syrups, he strikes me still as a black coffee, and maybe a latte if he’s feeling fancy. Coffee just seems like that sort of exact science that someone like David would like while Hal just guzzles it down to stay awake to build more gundam models.
