We closed for some time due to outside circumstances.

Hello! I have a question regarding your rules, if that’s alright. You state clearly that IRL child and animal abuse is unacceptable, but what about other kinds of abuse? My abuser (serious abuse which could and should have gone to court, not tumblr drama) is active in kin communities, but as we are the same age, I am not sure whether his behaviour would be condemned by your rules, even if he were open about it. I hope you are well! Thank you!

Absolutely, we do not allow abusers in our community! We have discussed this with existing members and quietly blacklisted their abusers. Please just let us know upon joining. We do request some manner of context and would prefer proof {but not always, again, talk to us please! we are VERY understanding, mostly we just need to know who they are and what they did, it will be kept 100% confidential, and will never be discussed or shared with Anyone, we just need to be told it wasn’t tumblr drama essentially}, but generally we're willing to work with you on this! We take abuse of any kind extremely seriously. Most of the mods are victims of abuse and we are exceedingly willing to make sure OK does not allow this behavior or those who perpetuate it in our spaces!

Do you accept people that are still questioning if they’re fictionkin? Or people that don’t know if their fictotypes are spiritual or psychological (either because they haven’t figured it out yet or they don’t care to find out)?

Thank you for your question! I hope this wasn't sitting long, our askbox has a tendency to...Misbehave. As for your answer! We absolutely welcome people who are questioning but not confirmed, you'll be gladly welcomed and given a safe and open space to work through your questioning and feelings. And if in the end you find you are not fictkin, as someone who has joined the server you will be welcome to stay, and not pressured to leave if you decide otherwise, as we have members who have kintypes that are not fictional, and who often use this space to explore them as well, so you'll still fit right in with us!

As for your second question: We totally understand, and you're absolutely welcome in if you do not know or care if your kintype is psychological or spiritual, so long as you're respectful! We've actually had many members who were unsure, or who simply didn't care. When we define ourselves as being geared primarily towards Spiritual Otherkin, it is admittedly mostly simply to weed out people who believe they can consciously pick and choose kintypes. You will not be looked down upon for not knowing or not caring!
