moth and micah divorce in starclan. instead of cloudstar sending visions to firestar in firestars quest, its micah. they fall in love. micah views leafpool as a daughter. when her and squilfs trial happens, he pops off at moth. discuss.

Micah watches from Starclan, watches Moth Flight separate their kits, watches her keep other cats from a love like they once shared. He pleads for an explanation in her dreams, and she insists that they were a burden, a distraction from her true calling.

Their beautiful kits. A BURDEN!?!?

He disavows her on the spot, and when she joins Starclan, Micah refuses to even look at her. He greets his kits warmly, and watches the medicine cats, but only speaks to Moth Flight if forced.

He watches Skyclan's descendants failing, and cannot abide by Moth Flight's call to leave them to their fate. He leaps into the dreams of the ginger Thunderclan leader, seeing how he supported the healer Yellowfang. Micah calls him to aid Skyclan, and follows Firestar and Sandstorm. He breaks the rules of Starclan as soon as their eyes are off of him, and joins both the mortal cat's dreams, often connecting them so he can talk to both of them at once.

They fall in love like a trickle of water breaking through a beaver dam and becoming a flood. As the pair travel back to Thunderclan, he shapes their kits with his own paws. Leafkit and Squirrelkit grow up knowing their Papa Mi and he watches them with care.

Micah watches his earthly kits and grandkits. He cannot always help, but the times he can make all the difference. He watches over the Three as they are born, and convinces his daughters to tell Brambleclaw and their living parents about the kit's true parentage. He keeps Jaypaw on the warrior's path, and helps Hollypaw remember her herbs. Micah guides Lionpaw away from the Dark Forest, and in the Great Battle, slams Hawkfrost off of Hollyleaf as she defends Ivypool.

And when his daughters are brought to be judged, as their bodies lie near death, Micah nearly takes his ex-mate's head off. How dare she judge cats who loved, as they once loved!? How dare Moth Flight, mother of four BEAUTIFUL KITS, judge another, and one who chose to BALANCE her kits and her healing! HOW DARE YOU, MOTH FLIGHT!!

Moth Flight flees in shame and fear, and the mollies finally embrace their Papa Mi. He promises that he will keep watch over them always...and they wake together in the medicine den, with their family around them.

A modern au where Odysseus is a cop and Menelaus is a firefighter, why? Well sometimes shit happens but this was so random and out of nowhere... everything will escalate quickly trust me

There is nothing deep about this au, it's just a dumb romance sitcom if I can even call it that 😭

To explain, I was on c.ai a while ago, and I started this funny conversation where Helen was supposed to be a police Chief, remember, don't ask me why!

Anyway her and Odysseus are colleagues ,she is a senior, Odysseus was transferred to her department just some months prior but they pretty much have the same amount of experience on the work place. Ody is very capable but he just doesn't want to do it right, minimum effort so Helen keeps nagging him and Ody hates that.

To alleviate the spirits and give him an incentive Helen invites him to lunch, where they talk about their life. That when he asks about her dating life and she reveals to be married ( they are all supposed to be in their 30-40's)

He kept digging his grave,needless to say that they went back to the Station and he had a black eye at their return.

I could draw a whole ass series on this thing, because we kept going for a lot! I was bored during the holidays ok?? 😭

a quick psa to anyone recently getting into greek mythology and is a victim of tumblr and/or tiktok misconceptions:

-there is no shame in being introduced to mytholgy from something like percy jackson, epic the musical or anything like that, but keep in mind that actual myths are going to be VERY different from modern retellings

-the myth of medusa you probably know (her being a victim of poseidon and being cursed by athena) isn't 100% accurate to GREEK mythology (look up ovid)

-there is no version of persephone's abduction in which persephone willingly stays with hades, that's a tumblr invention (look up homeric hymn to demeter)

-as much as i would like it, no, cerberus' name does not mean "spot" (probably a misunderstanding from this wikipedia article)

-zeus isn't the only god who does terrible things to women, your fav male god probably has done the same

-on that note, your fav greek hero has probably done some heinous shit as well

-gods are more complicated than simply being "god of [insert thing]", many titles overlap between gods and some may even change depending on where they were worshipped

-also, apollo and artemis being the gods of the sun and the moon isn't 100% accurate, their main aspects as deities originally were music and the hunt

-titans and gods aren't two wholly different concepts, titan is just the word used to decribe the generation of gods before the olympians

-hector isn't the villain some people make him out to be

-hephaestus WAS married to aphrodite. they divorced. yes, divorce was a thing in ancient greece. hephaestus' wife is aglaia

-ancient greek society didn't have the same concepts of sexuality that we have now, it's incorrect to describe virgin goddesses like artemis and athena as lesbians, BUT it's also not wholly accurate to describe them as aromantic/asexual, it's more complex than that

-you can never fully understand certain myths if you don't understand the societal context in which they were told

-myths have lots and lots of retellings, there isn't one singular "canon", but we can try to distinguish between older and newer versions and bewteen greek and roman versions

-most of what you know about sparta is probably incorrect

-reading/waching retellings is not a substitute to reading the original myths, read the iliad! read the odyssey! i know they may seem intimidating, but they're much more entertaining than you may think

greek mythology is so complex and interesting, don't go into it with preconcieved notions! try to be open to learn!
