I’m the responsible ones for the babies who come to play from middle school. I also no longer play the clarinet but I can repair them so I do that, but I also always have painkillers, tape, tech stuff, I’m apparently now de-facto first ask

Things in my clarinet case:

spare valve oil, slide lubricant, guitar picks, tape, mouth piece sanitizer

Backpack:

painkillers, spare folding cane, guitar strings and picks, spare music (for two instruments I don’t play idk), mic tape, duct tape, pens, pencils, snacks, water bottles, phone chargers and power bank, shoe laces, 2.75ft twine (don’t ask), screwdrivers, lighting cables

So back when I did band when I'd be away from my case I used to put valve oil in my pocket, and by the time I was like a month and a half into my freshman year I became The Keeper of Valve Oil for the entire brass section of the marching band. This reputation followed me for my entire high school band career for every group I did. Do you know how weird it is to be a tiny freshman that large teenage boys depend on?
