this special place called
i know a place
a place that people like to stay for a while, to rest, to meditate, to think
a place where they can laugh, cry, and rant
a place that they can always return whenever they need
a place where no one wants to stay but at least a place that they will always remember the good cozy feeling they felt while they were there
a place that would eventually get old and with lots of problems
a place that will disappear one day

One happy weekend
The weekend was not that perfect, but it was okay enough for me to feel a little bit better. Got a little sick but watched an amazing sunset.

My therapist calling: Are you alright? Just ringing in to check up if you need anything
Me: That's a very relative question, I mean, deffo not right but also better than the other times this happened...
My therapist: Oh thats some great news! Why do you say that? Want to talk about a little?
Me: Last time I spent more than <redacted> reais, and now I've only spent only <redacted / 2> reais. So I guess I'm not that bad, just a little heartbroken
My therapist: hm... I mean... well... I... Right, if you need something I'm here for you.
Me: Thanks
Me after the call ends and realising what I just told my therapist: Yeaaaaaaah I don't think that can be called 'alright' I guess?

The penguin and the bear - last part
After a long time with the same routine, the penguin was worried about his friend. He even got scratched a few times while trying to get to his house, 'cause now the thorns were just out of control. There was almost a thorn forest near the bear house which make it very difficult for the penguin to get across.
The penguin would see from afar the bear meeting other animals and having fun with them. The penguin was happy for his friend but he was sad that his friend did not want to share those moments anymore. "Well, I think it's good that he is happy at least...", thought the penguin while seeing his friend happy.
After a while, the bear would just stop talking with his friend. I mean, he would still greet them and stuff but the penguin knew something had changed. One day, the penguin took the courage and stepped inside the thorn forest and reached the bear house. "I think things have been weird since I told you how I felt... I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that. " screamed the penguin. "I'm really sorry for messing up our friendship..." cried the penguin.
The door to the bear house opened, and the bear came out. He grabbed the penguins' wings and said "You don't have any blame on this. It was my choice alone. I still want to be your friend, but I don't think it would be good for both of us at this point. I really wish you well, you were very important to me.".
The penguin was speechless. He wanted to hug the bear one more time but he knew he could not. There was nothing else to say. There was nothing else to feel. The penguin turn his back on his friend and walked down the path of thorns once more. After some time, the penguin looked back and saw his friend, scratched, hurt, but smilng at him. The penguin, also hurt and scratched, smiled back. In his house, after a long time, the penguin wrote a letter to his friend:
"I'm hurt. I don't think that was your intention, truly I don't, but it still hurts. I'm having so many mixed feelings about what you said to me last time. I know you said I wasn't the one to blame and yet I still think and feel that I have some part of it. I didn't mind the thorns, even though I knew I could get hurt on them. I never thought I would be the one to clean them for you as well, unfortunately we are responsible for our own houses. We can get some help of course and if you asked me I would gladly help. I really, really, from the bottom of my heart, wish you well and everything that is good because I think you deserve it. I know you are scared but everything will be fine. I hope you find the peace you want and need. I know also you will never read this letter, but anyway, it was good and both of us learned a lot from this. I wanted to write a lot of stuff about what happened but I also feel very tired of it. From yours sincerely,"
While writing the letter, a huge storm took place over his house. It was so violent that it thorn the garden apart and made the windows crack. The penguin, calmly, fold the letter, put it in an envelope and then in the back of his drawer. He got up, slapped his face a few times in front of the mirror, released a heavy sigh. He then proceeded to lock his house, put on his comfy pajamas, grabbed a blanket and sat there, in the middle of the house, waiting for the storm to pass.
#venting#there was actually so many things he wanted to write but he could not cause it would only hurt him more#i dont think there will be other parts of this story so this will be the last part

The penguin and the bear - part 4
The bear looked at the penguin and said "I like you as a friend, it would be good that we remain as we are right now...". The penguin was a little sad, but at least they could still be friends. The penguin returned home.
The next day when he tried to visit the bear, he noticed the thorns started to grow up again. He knocked on the door and asked if the bear wanted to hang out, only to receive a "not today, not feeling like it". The penguin then, returned home.
On the following day, the penguin went again to visit the bear, and the thorns were still growing up. He knocked on the door and asked again, which the bear replied "I'm kinda busy right now, don't have time for that". The penguin went back home.
This would happen again, and again, and again, for quite some time. The thorns were now covering the entrance, the bench, the grass, the door, the entire house. "Huh, I know you probably don't want to talk today but do you need some help in removing some of those thorns?" asked the penguin. "Nah, they are fine, just leave them there." replied the bear. "Okay, do you mind if I just sat here near your door and talk? You don't need to go out if you don't want to." said the penguin, but there was no response.
The penguin would return to the bears' house and sat near the door, sometimes getting hurt with the thorns. Sometimes the bear would reply from inside, other times he would not. After some time, the penguin asked "Are you okay? I mean, if I'm getting in your way you can say so... I don't want to be a burden to you." which the bear replied "No, it's fine, there is nothing wrong.".
The next day, the penguin went again to the bears' house, with some food "Hey, I bought some food from that burger shop you liked it. Do you want some?" which the bear replied "No, I'm fine, I have plenty of food here but thanks anyway." "I also bought some games! Do you want to play some?" asked again the penguin. "No, I'm busy right now" replied the bear, indifferent. "Huh... so I guess you don't want to watch anything either?" asked the penguin, one more time. "No, I'm busy. Sorry." replied the bear.
And once again, the penguin returned home, sad that he could not see or talk with his friend. Poor penguin, he really felt for it.
