Kinda surprised no one in the older fanbase assigned the general fanon Johnny Ghost/Jimmy Casket/Katrina dynamic to Alesana's "The Emptiness" tbh.

I like thinking about my P.I.E guys because in my little OCverse with these bastards they're like. They definitely started as just a little local ghost hunting "business" (i.e. two teenagers fresh outta high school livin' the dream.) Who, by some unfortunate metric, actually ended up taking off because ghosts are unequivocally real and now this is just their life blood.

Ghost and Toast were just childhood friends who share a special interest and wanted to make a living off of it. Spooky was just some adrenaline junkie they picked up after posting a craigslist ad. Specter was just some uber driver that was delivering the group to their job spot and he decided on a whim that he needed to be a part of whatever this was and never looked back.

I like to imagine that in the current day of the OCverse, they're all older. They're nearing their 30s (Toast and Spooky might already be in them) and it's just now hitting them that they might not be able to keep up this ragtag energy forever, they've definitely mellowed out a bit, they take their jobs far more seriously, Ghost is even considering retiring maybe, settling down getting a normal 9-to-5 (I'm sure getting temporarily thrust through dimensions and then later having to expel a demon that was murdering people in your own skin for years without you knowing is definitely a factor in making your dream job lose its luster a little bit.)

Casket's still around, they had that cat doll left over from Spooky fusing with the spirit that used to reside inside of it, so they just shoved his ass into that. But he's completely powerless and can't do shit. He wants to be Chucky so bad. Rip bozo. World renowned murderer to office pet. Get socialized idiot.

Idk. They're fun. They have regrets, things they think they should've done better, favorite missions, least favorite missions, lots of ups and downs in their bonds. All-in-all I like to think they've all come out on the other side stronger and more connected than ever before.

Hi sorry for using your asks as a cry for help but I think I might've been shadowbanned and I'm trying to work out for sure so if you do manage to get this ask can you please respond to it in any way (preferably with a way to fix a shadowban but anything really)

Apparently if you’re shadowbanned, you won’t be able to see or receive messages, and others won’t receive your asks (so if you were shadowbanned, good news! You’ve broken out of it). There’s a whole checklist of things to search for to see if you’ve been shadowbanned here, and I recommend checking it out in case this is a fluke (though it’s from 2021 and may be outdated). I imagine if you’ve been shadowbanned by a glitch, some things may be able to slip through the cracks.

Also, I’m sorry I haven’t done much to interact recently, it’s been a long time since I looked at the taleblr tag 🙂‍↕️
