what's the CEO like?

❝ The CEO is a nice man- busy, too. He's quiet. I don't hear him talk much outside of private meeting spaces with me or with some of my other superiors. I wish I did know more but there's a lot there that I don't think I have time to unpack. I don't think he'd appreciate me snooping, anyways. 

At the end of the day, being hired as his assistant is one of the best things that's ever happened to me.❞

( I could go without that grating voice, though. I don't think it even counts as a voice. Hell, when I think about him I can hear him. . . . Maybe I should get some sleep. )

❝ Well I. . . I dunno. I feel like people get too excited about the new year. It's just tomorrow when you think about it. I'll honestly take any excuse to get a little off of my rocker though- I don't get to do that often. It's not as fun when you're alone, though. Maybe I should start planning something. . . ❞

Do you think you'd ever quit this job? Sounds like you're stressed out beyond belief.

❝ Quit? No, no, no. It's a stable job and I like my coworkers. My superiors are nice too. If I quit, who’s going to organize the supply closet with the exact level of obsessive precision it deserves? I make a good wage and people know me for the most part. . . I’m also weirdly attached to my swivel chair. We’ve been through a lot. All in all I haven't considered it much- maybe once or twice. I don't think that'll be happening, though. I'm pretty much set for life as it is! ❞
