SUNDAY ROUTINE
pairing rindou x gn!reader
tags fluff, established relationship, kissing, brief mention of future nsfw times
plot waking up and chilling in bed with your bf (~300 words)
notes nothing really happens but i hope the mood i wanted to convey reaches your mind. not beta read. english is not my 1st language.
you woke to the chirping of birds sitting on the trees outside your window. the sun had already rose. a warm light was coming through the shutters and bathing the room in orange hues. the white sheets still on your body.
it was a nice sunday morning.
a morning when you had nothing better to do than to lie in bed all day and enjoy your day off without thinking of the upcoming monday. maybe today rindou will stay too. he never really gets days off, always ready to go if he is needed.
you had been awake for a minute or so when you heard your boyfriend move behind you. you felt his hand reach for your waist and he came closer.
"good morning, sunshine," rindou’s voice was raspy from not talking for several hours. he propped up on his elbow and gave you a peck on the cheek. his purple strands tickled your skin.
"good morning," you smiled and turned your head just a bit to take a better look at him, your back still flushed against his chest.
rindou studied your face for a few seconds, "you’re so beautiful like this."
he put the hand that was not supporting his head on your cheek and kissed your forehead, your nose, your chin. you giggled before his lips finally set on yours. you eagerly opened your mouth slightly to deepen the kiss. when you were both out of breath and your neck hurt from the awkward position, you had to break the moment. he put his forehead against your temple.
"that was… something. wanna do more?" he whispered in your ear.
this time, you turned around completely to face him. you reached for his cheek and caressed it with the tip of your fingers. he, too, was beautiful like this, the sun painting his skin. he had his eyes closed now and a soft smile on his lips. you moved your hand to rest it behind his neck.
"kiss me again," you demanded and he obliged, pulling you closer. you did not know if the heat you were feeling was from the july sun or from your own body.
"so, that’s a yes?"
"yes," you breathed against his mouth. "come on, show me what you’ve got."
and once more, he did.

the book
baberoe college/library au (~800 words)
check it on ao3 here
They were chilling in their shared dormitory when Bill asked if he liked that stupid book they were told to read for tomorrow’s literature class.
“What do you mean, what book?”
“You know the one Winters gave us, there will be a reading test, about –”, Bill stopped at the look on his best friend’s face. “You haven’t even started, have you?”
Babe had no idea what Bill was talking about.
And Bill must have seen it too because he continued. “You should check the library, they still have –”
The red-haired boy was out of the room before he could hear the rest of his friend’s sentence.
How did he know about this, anyways? They were always sitting next to each other in literature class. If there were really a test, Babe could not pass on it, his grades were not that good at the moment.
He had been walking for a good five minutes when he realized. He didn’t know where the library was located. Usually, Bill was the one to go and study there while Babe had the dormitory for himself.
He checked his pockets. No phone.
Well, too far away from the dormitory to go back now. Let’s just ask someone.
But it’s 8PM and no one is around.
Shit.
Five minutes turned into ten. Ten minutes turned into twenty.
“I will never find it.” He thought, “I should have gone back, I should go back.”
The idea was quickly forgotten when he noticed he didn’t take the key to the dormitory’s building.
He sighed, “What the hell am I going to do, now?”
This was at this moment that he saw it. Behind a big bush.
A big door, right there, waiting for him. With the words CAMPUS LIBRARY inscribed on a nameplate.
He entered, pleased to see that it wasn’t closed. He noticed a handful of students scattered around the room writing, reading, or simply looking at the ceiling.
He turned to the counter on his right, to be blessed with the sight of the most attractive man he had ever laid eyes upon.
The man seemed to be around the age as him, he had raven hair and a deep frown on his face, which relaxed as he looked at Babe.
And the latter almost fainted.
“May I help you?”
“Uh –”, Babe trailed off.
The guy’s lips quirked up as if he was trying not to laugh.
“Uh, I’m looking for a book. I have to read it by tonight and,” He looked around at the shelves, “I don’t know where to start looking.” He chuckled and scratched his neck.
“Okay, what’s the title?”
“It’s, uh –”
He doesn’t know.
“You don’t know?” Eugene Roe, assistant (as Babe read on his badge), cast him an amused look.
Babe looked at the floor, feeling lame. “No, I don’t.”
Eugene moved his rolling chair so he could sit in front of the computer. “What’s your class and grade?”
He typed as Babe told him, before concluding with a small “got it”. He stood up and Babe followed him through the book shelves.
“Is it the one?” Eugene demanded, but Babe was only looking at his hand.
“How would I know?” They did not break eye contact until Eugene chuckled and they made their way back to the counter.
He typed again on the computer and scanned the book. Babe noticed that it seemed small, he felt relieved at the thought of maybe getting some sleep and not spending his whole night on it.
“What’s your name?”
Babe is a bit taken aback by the question. “Why?”
“To take you out on a date, obviously.” Eugene had never looked so serious.
Babe’s eyes grew wide. And the assistant laughed.
“Have you never borrowed a book?”
Babe did not respond. No, he never borrowed a book at the library. Never tried. Why would he need to? He preferred buying books whether they were physical copies or virtual. This way he could write on them, even lose them, and not get in trouble.
Eugene continued, “I need your name for the records and if you fail to give it back on time, we know who to contact.”
“I’m Edward Heffron, but everyone calls me Babe,” He was sure Eugene did not need to know this.
“Babe…” Eugene tested the name, “I like it.”
He wrote something on a piece of paper and placed it inside the book. Probably for the records.
Babe thanked him and left the library. He went back to the dormitory’s building.
Bill was smoking outside.
“Ah, Babe, finally! I saw you forgot your keys so I decided to wait for you.”
When Bill finished his cigarette, they walked inside.
Babe sat on his bed and opened the book. A piece of paper felt to the floor. He took it and smiled as he read “Eugene Roe” followed by a phone number.

finding you in the night
todoroki ran away from home and knocked on the wrong door but izuku wants to take him in anyway (~1200 words)
read on ao3
guys this is my first completed fanfic ever, i haven’t written in a while and english is not my mother tongue so forgive me if i made any mistake, thanks uwu
It was very late.
Too late to be outside and too late to run away from home during winter.
The moonless night would have been a problem if it wasn’t for the glowing light coming from the street lamps. You had to use your quirk to prevent from being frozen by the cold air, you left in a hast and forgot to take a jacket, let alone a scarf or gloves. The only thing you had with you was a small piece of paper in your back pocket. An address was scribbled on it but the washing machine erased the number. Still, you tried your luck and chose to go. The address belonged to someone your mom trusted, perhaps they’d let you sleep there for the night. You had to try anyway, you had nowhere else to go. And returning home to your father was definitely not an option.
After a one-hour walk, you finally reached your destination. As far as you could see in the dark, it was a simple building. You bit your bottom lip. What am I supposed to do once I get to meet them? And, I still have to find where they reside exactly. You wandered around the building and soon found yourself in front of a random grey door. You noticed no name was written beside the bell as you rang it. Nothing could indicate who lived here. If it’s not my mom’s friend then I’ll try next door. You heard muffled voices coming from inside the apartment. You stepped away and recited the speech you had prepared while walking. Good evening, I am Todoroki Rei’s son and-
The voices were getting closer, “Okay, okay…” And the door opened on a familiar face with green hair, grinning brightly. Now, you definitely didn’t expect that.
“To-todoroki-kun! Uh, what are you doing here?” Despite his smile, the smaller boy looked a bit confused.
And so did you.
Did Midoriya ever tell you where he lived? There is no way you could have guessed.
“Hi, uh, I didn’t realize you lived there.” You said, and since you doubted his family was an acquaintance of your mother, “I’m sorry I bothered you, I’ll get going.”
You started to walk toward the next apartment when he called your name again.
“Wait, Todoroki-kun.” His tone had changed and his smile had completely disappeared, “What are you doing outside at this hour, you’re not even wearing a coat.”
You really observed his face. Midoriya was standing in the doorway, his freckled cheeks and nose were already turning red, surely from the cold. Even though you were glad to see him, you couldn’t stay to chat, you had to find that other apartment.
“I ran away. Now, I’m looking for a place to stay the night.” You explained matter-of-factly, “My mom knows someone who lives in this building, I just forgot their door number… and their name…” You trailed off realizing this whole situation did not make sense, there were at least fifty apartments to check and you were not even certain to be welcomed if you ever found who you were searching for. Midoriya seemed to realize the same thing, but he would also come to the same conclusion: you have no other choice.
“Why don’t you stay here instead?” Or maybe not. “I can assure you, you won’t be a bother. It’s better than trying to find someone you’ve never met. Plus, is it safe? I mean-“ He rambled for a while, while you stared at him in awe. Maybe you should take your chance. He showed up at the moment you most needed him and offered a better option. This is all your fault, you shouldn’t have left. No. This is your father’s fault, you could not stand being in this house any longer. But it didn’t seem right to sleep at Midoriya’s. He said there isn’t any problem but coming here at night, uninvited, is not very polite. So what? You were about to do a similar thing to some stranger, even if they used to help your mom during hard times. Yeah, this is all your fault, you should be responsible for your actions and go home or sleep outside. And yet, would it be so bad to accept Midoriya’s offer?
“Okay.”
The smaller boy stopped in his tracks, “Really?” His cheerfulness came back in full force then. “Hurry and come inside, before I freeze.” You noticed he was only wearing a shirt and pajama shorts. You were not much better but your quirk helped a lot.
Midoriya moved on the side, indicating you to get in. You ceased using your quirk and took off your shoes. The other boy closed the door behind you as you paid attention to your surroundings. It was a simple apartment, nothing out of the ordinary. Except for framed photographs of a younger version of Midoriya on the walls. A small woman appeared from what may be the kitchen, a dishcloth in hand.
“Took you long enough, Izuku.” Her face lit up, suddenly acknowledging you. “Oh, who is this young boy?”
“Good evening, Ma’am.” You bowed, “My name is Todoroki Shouto -”
Cutting you in your speech, Midoriya continued, “Do you mind if he stays here for the night? He has nowhere else to go.”
She had the same grin as her son when she beamed, “Sure, let me get you a mattress and a cover.”
As she left the room, Midoriya turned to you and whispered, “She loves having guests.” He seemed to remember something, “Do you want something to eat, or drink?”
You already felt like an intruder, you couldn’t ask for more. “No thanks, I’m good.” You both stood there awkwardly for a few seconds. Midoriya kept bouncing on his feet, his eyes locked on the floor. You wondered if you should say something or stay quiet, but fortunately, you didn’t have to make the first move.
“Listen, if you feel uncomfortable telling me then that’s fine but,” Midoriya hesitated for a few moments but you gestured him to keep going, you had guessed what he was about to ask, anyway, “Why did you leave?”
The boy probably already had the answer but getting involved in someone else’s business is what he does. He did it with you at the tournament, and now, a few days later, he was doing it again. You couldn’t blame him, he really had helped you accept yourself. But right now, it felt as if he asked to make you open up and talk about your feelings instead of actually wanting to find a solution. You already found it when you visited your mother. You never felt better since then.
Well, that is, until tonight.
You were eating with your sister and brother at the time your father came home, already mad at everything. You didn’t even remember what the fight was about but, you couldn’t just shut up, you had to speak your mind. He snapped and burned stuff. In fear, you ran to your room and jumped through the window. And found yourself wandering in the streets of Musutafu, in the same jeans you wore when you went to see your mother and she gave you the address of her old friend, just in case. Unfortunately, you forgot to check your pockets before washing them. Well, actually, you’re glad you didn’t, or you would never have found yourself in Midoriya’s home.
You told him that, omitting the last part. He didn’t need to know.
Midoriya’s mother came back before he could answer and the smaller boy showed you the way to his room. Both of you dozed off almost immediately.
You slept with a soft smile on your face.
honestly it’s not even that good but i have to practice writing (and writing in english) but if you liked it pls like/rb it means a lot
