Because the internet is built off of anti-recovery. They say a year isn't enough time to get better. They still call you a groomer. And the people you hurt are still mad a year later. Real honestly, and it's genuinely frustrating to deal with.

It's like they don't actually want you to change, and that they want a reason to basically make another person's life hell.

PIR Culture is frequently relapsing all of the time because ppl are so fucking stupid on tiktok in particular nowadays that you're basically forced to relapse just so ppl listen to you when you try to educate them, and then getting backlash from it regardless of how you respond, so basically it's a never-ending cycle of getting shunned because they don't want to properly educate themselves on a topic.

And it's fucking draining too, that's the worst part. It feels more like ppl are making you relapse on purpose just to make your life hell for whatever sick reason they got in their head. They don't care if you're trying to get better, they will shun you regardless.

You're not who they say you are yet they keep repeating it over and over. You tried to fix it, you said sorry, you did everything you could, even tried reaching out to make a mends but they're still calling you everything under the sun. It's not fair! It's not fair they get to do all these horrible things like gaslight you and even make out your own trauma as fake all because you hurt them first. Saying that you're hiding behind the reasons you got to that point when you aren't and the first thing you said was sorry before even trying to explain. That due to wanting to be a public content creator and having to post about what you did online it's going to forever haunt you no matter how much you grow and change because someone will use it against you one day, calling you the same things they called you.
