on one hand i think it is both boring and unfair to expect TV shows to like, force characters to repent, or to have this unspoken expectation that if a character is shitty or manipulative (j*re) that someone should look into the camera and say This Is Wrong. on the other hand it really does get to a point, especially when you have most of the characters performing monologue after monologue about conrad's flaws and LITERALLY treating him as a punching bag, where it just feels, like, uneven. especially when you then take away half of belly's screen time and send her on fetch quests in Paris while the man who has wrought such destruction on her is allowed to mope and take up most of the screentime. this isn't a depiction is endorsement problem imo but rather an issue of priority. they're spending all of the screen time forcing ONE character to repent and take all of the abuse he's given without asking the other characters to do the same for, frankly, much worse

When I was 14, I used to carry a flashdrive with TOR on it to bypass the school's internet safety filters so I could get on Facebook and play flash games. Kids are smarter than you want to think. You aren't protecting shit.
