I believe the main reason so many minors are antiship is that, on some level, they genuinely think they’re doing something good—being morally righteous in a cold, heartless, and uncaring world. And honestly, that’s really sad.

There are so many minors out there who don’t have a safe or mature way to express themselves, so they turn to the internet as a means of trying to “purify” the world. It’s also disappointing that we, as a society, have created a world so cruel for so many young people that the only place they feel empowered to express themselves or “fight back” is through fiction.

It's clear antis don't care about irl victims but it gets under my skin when they claim they want to protect children and victims because they could be reporting actual cases of CSEM /CSAM, making posts for more awareness of how victims are treated in society and online, how to protect yourself if you are in that situation, perhaps even providing resources or sending advice on what to do if you've already been abused or something.. I dont know, I'm not an activist or someone who gives advice and I don't care about being one since that's not something I'm confident in doing or have time to research rn.

.. but here antis are online causing people to feel apathy when someone makes a callout about another person being a predator and a danger to kids since now it either turns out to be completely morally okay but the callout maker just didn't like it and went through hoops to try and claim its bad or its about taboo but the person warned it multiple times with "fucked up shit, be careful.
