Tony hates spending his day in bed.

He actually hates spending his night in it too, considering the fact that it’s almost impossible for him to actually get some rest. Yes, being spooned by Steve does make it easier for him to fall asleep without waking up a couple hours later from his usual nightmares, which way to often involve having said Steve die in his arms while he’s only there to watch, completely helpless. But those still happen, and they still make him hate getting under the covers.

Basically, to Tony, their bed is either the worst, or the best place in the world, when laying on it involves being naked on top of each other, moaning and gasping for breath while riding to their next orgasm.

Yet, since Steve’s moved in with him, with his love for lazy mornings and afternoon spent cuddling and sharing sweet nothings, Tony’s found himself more and more enclined to get on the covers, and even enjoying laying on the mattress with his husband without Steve having to pound him into it. Because in fact, in these moments, they don’t seem to be doing anything particulary interesting. They just stay there, talking and laughing, eventually stopping in the middle of a sentence to share a kiss that almost always turns into a passionate yet tender make out session. And they spend hours like that, together, next to each other, doing nothing except enjoying each other’s presence.

Heh, maybe he kinda like spending the day in bed, after all.

Marriage relies on compromise. Tony wanted something colorful, something bold and bright that reminded him of the passion that fuels their love, of the firework that’s been his life since they got together. Steve wanted something humble and sweet, because he felt they didn’t need anything other than each other and as simple as it seems, it is the best way to describe their relationship. They may have been disagreeing, at first, but in the end, they settled for a mixture of the two. An arrival with Steve carried bridal-style by Ironman for Tony, and a tender slow dance to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley as the ball opening for Steve. Because again, a happy marriage relies on compromise, and seeing how quickly and efficiently they got used to that concept, it is safe to say their union is set to last for long… But hey, they knew that long before putting a ring on each other’s finger.

SUPERFAMILY TIME !

Even though they’re super busy saving the world and avenging around the globe, Steve and Tony spend as much time as they can with their real-life angel Peter. The boy’s really speedy and fuul of energy, though, and the Avengers’ tower (no, Tony didn’t sell it, I liked it !) is far from anough to contain all that vitality (besides, Dum-E’s had his fair share of damage and repairs since this young man appeared into their life and Tony’s beginning to feel sorry for him).

So, to avoid further devastation and keep the boy from falling on the head (again) trying to escalade the bots, Steve and Tony decided to take drastic measures. And such measures include long walks and tag sessions to the park. And no playground in the world could face Peter’s liveliness better than dear-old Central Park.

Now sure, it’s highly frequented and they may get some looks from tourists and joggers from time to time. But nobody can blame them : what could possibly make a better show than two superhusbands filled with love for their super-boy ?

Obviously used references and obviously will be drawing superhusbands and superfamily again soon (how could I resist anyway ?)

Tony’s undersuit kind of is inspired by some of the Infinity War set photos, mostly for the orange lines but I dare hope that this is the only thing this fanart and the movie have in common !

June's five months away but in Steve and Tony's minds, Pride month is every month, and they're already super hyped, rocking those rollerblades, bright colors and cool outfits. Also, Steve had to wear high-waisted shorts and a crop top 'cause you gotta do those thighs and that shoulder-to-waist ratio justice. Tony's still slaying his silver-fox goatee, chest hairs and peace signs, clearly having a blast with his (and only his, mind the t-shirt) boyfriend. Bisexual! Steve and Pansexual! TOny rollerblading for representation and equality !

Tony hates those long ass meetings he’s expected to attend so Steve tries to pick his boyfriend up after work as often as he can, with flowers and a big smile to cheer him up.

Also, Cap is ripped, height difference is life, Tony’s got style and Steve’s tee-shirt is a gift from his boyfriend (obviously), which he wears so much that the only way Tony’s found to litteraly peel it off his skin is through loud, passionate lovemaking 😏

“When I’m dead promise you’ll take your jacket back. I know you, you have this weird, polite, respectful thing going on. But trust me you’ll need it, and I don’t need to be dignified if I’m dead. 

Shut up, Tony. It’s not going to happen. I’m not going to let it happen.”

Just because I fell in love with Falling To Earth by entanglednow on ao3 and I’m a sucker for “stuck in the cold” and “huddling for warmth” situations (if you have any suggestin of that kind, on ao3 or Tumblr, know that I’m taking them !).

I still kinda suck but to be honnest I spent way to much time on this to keep it for myself so I hope you’ll enjoy my trash !

“You called.”

Tony stared at him blankly, probably for too long, trying to find the answer that would be the most appropriate to this situation. He’d imagined countless scenarios about their reunion, that damn flip phone in his hands, his engineer mind once again trying to solve the problem as if it was a simple mechanical issue. And he’d spent nights thinking, about what he would say, what he would do and how annoyingly tragic it would be despite all his efforts to try and keep it as casual as possible.

But with Steve finally in front of him, looking at him the way he did, with pleading eyes that were glistening with tears, everything he ever thouht of felt improper, unfitting…

Completely wrong, in fact.

“I did.” Was all he could think of that wasn’t too heartfelt and that sort of suited. Only at first, though, because soon enough, he judged his tone too cold and shit, this wasn’t what he wanted to sound like. “The thing is I-”

No, too peronnal, too sincere, there was no ‘I’ in this, he wasn’t doing it for himself, not at all, he had to say something else.

“Truth is we need you, Cap.”

Yes, that was more like it. ‘We’, the Avengers, the world, they needed Steve, not Tony. But then Steve kept silent, eyes even blurrier, his mouth agape and it was as if he couldn’t talk, as if what Tony said wasn’t what he expected to hear. Or wanted to hear, maybe, which made Tony’s heart wrench and goddammit he didn’t want to get emotional but here they were, and it was too hard, too painful.

“Listen Cap, I-”

“I’m sorry, Tony.”

Tony lifted his gaze to the man standing in front of him, a little closer than before it seemed. And he saw the suffering, the profound sorrow that darkened Steve’s eyes, twisted his expression and strained his body and he wanted to make it better but nothing would come out.

“I’m so sorry,” Steve repeated, hoping to get even just a word from Tony, probably. But what was he supposed to answer after what happened between them ? “I am, I truly am, and if you could just-”

“C’mere”

He let it out. Just like that. And before he could even realise what he had said, Steve’s arms were around him. And what a relief it was to feel Steve holding him close, pressing his body against him so tight, as if he’d never let go, afraid that Tony would escape his embrace at any given chance. But then again why would he do that, this felt so real, so true and Tony hadn’t realised he’d been desperate for Steve’s touch this whole time, but now, even through his suit, he could feel the man’s muscles twitch under his hands, his heat all around him, his heart beating against his, his warm breath against his ear and god it just felt so good.

Steve’s pants filled the air and Tony knew he could also hear the relieved whimpers he was trying to muffle in the man’s shoulder but it didn’t matter because after some time, he felt Steve’s torso widen against his as he was taking a deep breath, letting out a long and satisfied sigh.

“You were right when you said I was gonna miss you” he then said, voice shaky and even breaking on the last word. “And that there would be a lot of tears”, he puffed, somehow amused despite the earnestness of the situation, as his right hand pressed Tony’s head against his chest, fingers gripping at dark hair with despair.

Tony couldn’t help chuckling and closed his eyes tight against Steve, once again feeling every bit of his warmth against him, thriving with his every touch. And for he had been keeping it all in since they came apart almost two years ago, two years that had felt like eternity, he just decided to let go .

“Oh how I’ve missed you, Steve.”

So, as you all can see, I am still enjoying my new tablet ! Gotta say, writing this little ficlet felt harder than drawing those two’s reunion but hey, not complaining, I kinda like it in the end. Anyway, I am kind of in a love-hate relationship with Steve’s suit, wich is a pain in the ass to draw and will probably hate Tony’s armor even more so I’m keeping it as far away as possible from me for now. Also, tears are hard and I can’t seem to do justice to Evans’ bubble butt but I feel like it’s a nice try, at least so I hope you guys enjoy it ! If you have any advice or any comment for me, I’ll take it gladly :)

And if there’s a huge probability for us Stony shippers not to get such a heartfelt and dramatically cliché reunion in Infinity War, might as well picture it ourself !

By the way, I am french and my english surely isn’t perfect so if you guys find any mistake in that ficlet or find any word unsuited, just let me know !

How about a reconciliation kiss in Infinity War ?

After two years of hesitation, I finally decided to try digital drawing so I asked for a tablet this Christmas (a Polaroid Infinite 10'1) and I’m so happy about it ! I spend all my time drawing and after a few days of practice, I gotta say I’m pretty satisfied with what I’m producing !

By the way, I’m actually proud of the way I drew Tony’s jacket and thank Daft Punk since I stole the look from them. Also, a follow-up to that mistletoe art Robert shared on his social media pages, maybe ?
