[Rococo-ish Collection]
A late gift for Dez's birthday, which I'm sharing because let's be real: masc Sims need more nice clothes. The Sinful Palette was made for this style. While we normally include only a few of the elaborate Sin Lord swatches, these suits come with all of them--because Dez loves them, and it's a special occasion! Credit and previews below.
Meshes Included (original found here, not required)
Found in Suits; 4 versions, 54 swatches, Sinful Palette
Regular (HQ mod) and non-HQ (smaller filesize)
Shoes found in Heels and Loafers; 2 versions, Leather and Sinful
Stockings found in Socks; 20 swatches, neutrals and Sinful Lights
Suits are Masc Frame (transmasc-inclusive)
Shoes and stockings for All Frames
Download: Patreon (free) | SFS
Suit mesh converted by lunar-nelfean (sadly deactivated). The original suit is called "Victorian Tuxedo," but it's actually Rococo-style, hence the set-name. I fixed some weight issues, removed the built-in shoes and stockings for flexibility, made one with no tie-pin (requested by @zeehasablog), and non-HQ versions for both. The shoes and stockings are from the pirate and hero costumes respectively. 'Cause you gotta contour them calves.
More stuff here. Like, comment, say hi, tag us, love y'all, be safe. And feel free to embarrass Dez with birthday wishes. ;B
Other cc in the previews by @wistfulpoltergeist @birksche and @wightspider. Build: Scath Hall by Xan, unreleased.
Rebloggers (thank you!): @alwaysfreecc @ts4medieval @sssvitlanz
Models: Lukas Lynch/Lord Pride and Devlin d'Artes. Because nobody else is this much of a dandy.

Tomorrow, I return to work after 18 months off to raise my twins. Also tomorrow, the Georgian Era of the story begins.
You can guess which one I'm more excited about.
Just a few updates before the story begins (with some out-of-context teaser outtakes for fun):
Quick reminder that I am not a historically accurate simmer. I've had a few comments recently of people trying to help me by pointing out the anachronisms in my images (e.g. a tudor outfit in a medieval image). Please save your energy. My inspirations are sources like Bridgerton, Marie Antoinette (Coppola, 2006), The Tudors etc. that all take heaps of creative licence with history. You are going to see CC that is Roccoco, Colonial, Regency, Georgian and modern takes on those eras all fused together. That is my happy place.
I'm not doing 'previous/next' links anymore because I am terrible for keeping them updated.
You may be aware that it was typical in this time for people to refer to one another with a formal 'Mr/Mrs [surname]'. As much as I love Austen, this always drove me mad because there would be like six Miss Bennetts and three Mr Fitzwilliams and I couldn't keep my head on straight. So, the characters of this era will be going for a 'Mr/Mrs [first name]', unless their intention is to show a much deeper level of respect (usually for elders or strangers).
I got very bored of scrolling through hundreds of pose packs to find the right pose. In this era, my new policy is as follows: in game animations only. This has proved to be a fun challenge as I've had to experiment with how to get sims to look the way I want for the words in the story. However, I am conscious that the gameplay limitations also means we have a lot of sitting down and talking. If anyone knows of mods that add in-game animations or help gameplay to be dynamic (e.g. they can freaking have a conversation standing up!) please let me know!

Folks are mad about the upcoming pack being another green world and I get the frustration, but also… can we please just like wait? Until we know more than next to nothing?? It could be an expansion that has a resort town/city and focuses on “adventurous” stuff like archery, more hiking, more stuff for boating, maybe even snowboarding, roller skating, martial arts, etc.
Can we just… wait, y’all?

⚜ Le Cabinet Noir | N°31 | Francesim, École Navale de Poulmic, 16 Fructidor An 230
Welcome Ceremony, Speech by Vice Admiral Pierre de Roquefeuil
"Ladies and Gentlemen, future officers of the Imperial Navy, It is with great pride that I welcome you to the Naval Academy of Poulmic. Today marks the beginning of an extraordinary journey—a journey that will transform you into leaders, defenders of our nation, and examples of courage and dedication. You have been selected among the very best, and we have full confidence in your ability to meet the challenges that lie ahead. Here, you will not only learn the skills and tactics required to become competent officers, but also the fundamental values of honor, discipline, and teamwork. May this day mark the beginning of a brilliant and honorable career. For Francesim, across the seas, we fight!"
About the Naval Academy of Poulmic
The École navale de Poulmic is the prestigious military academy responsible for training the future officers of the Imperial Navy. Nestled on the Breton coast, at the entrance of the Bay of Brest, it combines centuries-old maritime tradition with cutting-edge military education.
Cadets, known as élèves-officiers, undergo a demanding program that balances academic excellence, physical training, and naval practice at sea. Beyond technical knowledge, the academy emphasizes values such as honor, discipline, camaraderie, and service to the nation.
The location of Poulmic, close to the ocean, symbolizes the direct link between theory and practice: cadets regularly embark on training vessels to experience firsthand the challenges of navigation and command.
Since its foundation, the École navale has been a cornerstone of the imperial maritime tradition, forging generations of officers whose loyalty and expertise have guaranteed Francesim’s place among the great naval powers of the world.

Was inspired by all the palace lore happening and my laptop cooperated long enough for me to go in game and capture some quick photos. Huge thanks to @stereo-91, @kingdomofsyrin, @messrchase, @ratty1994, and @cliffou29 for building such beautiful buildings and making them available for my own customization and world building.

Regency+ furniture - Sims 2 Conversions
Big post ahead:
Almost two months ago @inlovewithregencyera asked me if I would be willing to convert some Sims 2 furniture to use in The Sims 4. She linked me to this Tumblr post where Simbury A.K.A. Cupcakeyy had done a whole lot of recolours from different creators - for The Sims 2. I believe inlovewiththeregencyera only really wanted a handful of pieces from this post, but I CONVERTED THEM ALLLL. She sent me a video tutorial, which instructed me in what programme I needed to open the files, and how to export, and then convert.
(I say Regency+ because honestly, some of these really don't look Regency to me 😂)
I LEARNED A LOT.
There were a lot of frustrations, as the files were old, and the meshes were not always set out in a way that is friendly for The Sims 4, but I persevered, and completed all 26 pieces!!
Now, I KNOW some of these have already been converted to The Sims 4, don't @ me; BUT, these versions include the recolours Cupcakeyy did. I included all ORIGINAL swatches, in addition to the new recolours; I also played around a bit more, for some: Cupcakeyy did dark "walnut" wood for many of the pieces - and I decided that the original wood was also nice; so you will see some have light wood, and dark wood. There's also pieces with cushions - again I've included Cupcakeyy's version, as well as any original versions; this way there's loads of options for you!
Another thing I've learned is editing tuning (the code that determines how things function): I always thought it was weird that cats/small dogs couldn't sit on Living chairs, despite them being big enough!! So I worked out what allowed them to sit on sofas, then used that to combine with chair tuning, and violà! cats can now sit on living chairs. All the "living" chairs here have this custom tuning for you.
Also, everything is Base Game Compatible, and no other CC is required for things to work in game 😁
more under cut.............
So here we go:
Miscellaneous "dining" chairs: Vanity chair by Pocci, Maple Rose chair by Cashcraft, Antique 2 chair by 4ESF, Antique 7 chair by 4ESF, Royal Library Chair by Cashcraft. The ones with 34 swatches have both light and dark woods:
Miscellaneous "living" chairs: Chesterfield armchair by Pocci - and I edited the mesh a bit so that the top is more round and sits a bit higher; Amelia Armchair by ADELE - this has two different sets of cushions; and Antique 3 Armchair by 4ESF - which has light and dark woods:
Antique 3 Sofa by 4ESF - with both light, and dark woods; Posh Loveseat by ADELE - this has 100 swatches!!! ADELE made four different cushions, so each loveseat colour has four different types - then there's the original swatches she made as well:
Lounge chair, and loveseat set by CowridgeStudios - each swatch has both dark and light wood, as well as the original cushions, and Cupcakeyy's ones:
Rococo living chair and couch set by Simnuts - each has light and dark wood:
Embossed living, loveseat, and dining chair set by Macarossi - this is such a beautiful set! The picture below has the original swatch on the loveseat, which I really love:
This set many will find familiar, I've had a set in my game for a while; but, of course, the colours are different! Royal collection by Cashcraft: Dining chair, sofa, loveseat, living chair. Each swatch has both gold and dark woods:
These beds are also very familiar, I've seen A LOT of recolours. The first is Frances bed by Amovitam - this has both white and dark woods; and the Regal living bed, converted from Sims 3 to 2 by Hcove: unfortunately Cupcakeyy only recoloured the top draped bit - everything else is the same. I didn't really want to take the time to do other recolours, because there's already so many out there:
On the left here, we have the Queen Elize bed by Parsimonious (whom, you may note, was the one who made the wash basin I recently converted); the mattress is also by Parsimonious; and the last is Vanity Fair bedframe by Cashcraft. The Parsimonious bed caused me A LOT of issues, from the mesh itself not being in the right place, to the swatches having weird spots on them. I decided to keep the mattress separate, not only because of these weird issues, but also because the swatches go really well with the Vanity Fair bed, which didn't come with its own mattress:
And here's how they look!
Cupcakeyy used a palette of 16, which is why many of these have 17 swatches - the first being the one original swatch in the Sims 2 file. The swatches all had names! Soot, Snow, Shortcake, Pool, Petal, Periwinkle, Pebble, Papaya, Palm, Nileblue, Magnolia, Inchworm, Hyacinth, Fawn, Beachglass, Barn. These are quite a mix of pastel-type shades, but there's a couple of dark shades I really like: Soot, Palm, Nileblue, Hyacinth, and Barn are my favourites 😅
As always, in game you can see my stuff by searching "[zee" (sans quotation marks, of course), but for these specifically, you can narrow it down by searching "conversion", or "Sims 2 Conversion", as all of these have this in the name.
Download the whole set, for free, at my Patreon here!!!!
I hope you don't hate my ridiculous comments at the end of my descriptions in build/buy 😂
Anyway, have fun!!

TS4 1870s Dinner Dress
I'm so excited to be sharing this dress with you all ❤
I scrolled through Pinterest and found a beautiful dress from the 1870s that I wanted to use as inspiration. Of course, it had to be a little simplified for the Sims.
This set includes:
Inspired by ChèreIndolente's method of customizing with overlays, I went a little overboard with them this time. The dress comes with four overlay accessories: one for the bows, one for the underskirt, one for the trimmings, and one with a stripe and fleur pattern. They, of course, come in all my 32 swatches.
IMPORTANT! Since I wanted to be able to apply all overlays at once, they are spread throughout the accessory tab. Two are in the "bracelet" section, and the other two are in the respective "tights" and "socks" sections.
Preview swatches:
A brocade version of each color is not pictured here, because it hurts my wrists to make such an extensive swatch card 😅

Functional Victorian Wash Basin
Your new favourite basin and jug!
While working on some Sims 2 > Sims 4 conversions, I found this deco wash basin by Parsimonious, part of their "Monte Carlo" bedroom set, and fell in love with it!
So, once again, with the help of Serinion's "Ablution Chamber Basin", I have made this a functioning wash basin for The Sims 4!
This basin functions as a sink - you can brush your teeth, wash your hands, shave your face; as well as take a "sponge bath" OFF THE GRID.
I have added the "Sponge Bath" interaction by connecting the basin with Cepzid's "Sponge Bath at Sink" Mod - so it is required in order for you to wash the body.
There's five different porcelain colours, each with five different towel colours:
I just love the texture of the light coloured ones; in case you aren't aware, there can only be one "normal map" per .package file - the normal map adds extra 3D texture in game; so, even though the details aren't coloured, you can still see outlines, like it has been made a part of the porcelain. Very beautiful!!!
Originally I had just done the top four colours, then realised I also HAD to do a blue porcelain as well.
The basin slots onto any surface, so you can place it on a counter; a table; a dresser etc. HOWEVER, annoyingly, the animation location can't be changed - so in some instances the sim's hand will go through the bowl itself (If anyone knows if I can actually change this, please reach out!!!).
Just like my Functional Victorian Washstand, to make all this work, you need:
The file included in this post XML InjectorSponge Bath Mod
And, of course, if you want to shave your face, you can now use my Automatic Beards mod - fully base game compatible.
Functional Victorian Wash Basin available free from my Patreon~
YUSSSSS baby~~~Have fun!

author's note. Elise out here having a normal one, ig.
Transcript under the cut.
ELISE | ...I do not 'have a face on!' OLIVIA | Come on, Lees. I know you too well, you have no poker face. What's up? ELISE | It's nothing, it's just...don't you feel a little bit guilty? I know I do. OLIVIA | Guilty? For what? ELISE | [ sighs ] Just...being here and enjoying all of this. OLIVIA | What, because Andre's sick? ELISE | No, not just that... [ sighs ] You cannot breathe a word of this to anyone, but...before his diagnosis, we were going through a...well, I don't want to say rough patch, but we'd been talking about separation. OLIVIA | What? ELISE | Shhh! Not so loud— OLIVIA | [ whispering ] Holy shit, Elise, why? ELISE | ...it doesn't matter. He was being selfish and I was being stubborn. OLIVIA | I'm sorry, Lees. I had no idea. ELISE | We didn't want it getting out, not until we had everything settled. We'd been meeting with the attorneys and the privy council— OLIVIA | Sounds like you were doing more than just 'talking about' separation. ELISE | Well, I didn't want to leave him! I never wanted to leave. Right before the diagnosis, Cordelia was in town, and I was telling her, "I wish he'd just pull his head out of his ass, I just wish he'd remember that he needs me." I didn't want to leave him, I just wanted things to go back to the way they were. OLIVIA | And one finger uncurls on the monkey's paw... ELISE | Exactly. I have my husband back. You're home. My children are settled and doing well. Vivi told me she wants to finish her degree and JJ told me they're trying for another baby. Freddy and Em's wedding is just a few weeks away, and then we'll be announcing Roz and Mary's engagement once the dust settles. After all these years and all my sacrifices, I'm finally getting everything I ever wanted, but...I feel too guilty to enjoy it. OLIVIA | That's...a lot to process, Lees. Have you thought about talking to anyone? ELISE | To a therapist, you mean? OLIVIA | A therapist, a priest, whatever. Someone with some kind of training. You've been through a lot, and I think it'd really help to— EMILY | Excuse me, your Highness, your Majesty— OLIVIA | Oh for fuck's sake— OLIVIA | They stripped my title, kid. Keep that up and they'll charge you with sedition. ELISE | Ignore her, Em. What's up? EMILY | Um. His Majesty asked me to tell you that he's ready to leave. ELISE | Alright, we can make that happen. Where's Freddy? OLIVIA | Inside, I think. I'll go find him, you need to circulate and thank all the VIPs. EMILY | Do we have to? OLIVIA | [ laughs ] Chin up, buttercup. It's only the rest of your life.

Maid hathair!
Tired of the cap cutting through hair when I hired a new maid, I decided to fix the issue by making a new hathair!
This cap was originally made by @nyxzouyou , then adapted and recoloured by @pandorasimbox; and, I have joined it with hair in a snood by @the-melancholy-maiden.
I duplicated and layered the cap, pushed up the front a bit, pushed back at the back a bit -- until you see what we have now.
There's just one swatch, but it will work with all the standard hair colours -- so the hair colour will change according to what your sim has.
My maids wear the Madge Maid Dress by @simstomaggie (I highly recommend all their clothes!!!!)
I also thought I should explain how I use maids: I use the Royalty Mod by llazyneiph, where you can summon servants; I have two permanent servants who have their own rooms to sleep in. One handles hunting and cooking, the other shares cleaning and washing. I use the Control Any Sim mod by TitanNano, so that they appear as sims I can control - but don't count as part of the family; this way I can tell them to do things; however, the Servant trait from the Royalty mod allows them to autonomously do things - just sometimes they don't do enough for my liking 😂 As an alternative, you can, instead, use the Live In Services mod by @littlemssam - which works really similarly, but I found they spend A LOT more time standing around doing nothing.
In addition to the above mods, I use Fashion Authority by Lot51 for most of my services/career NPC sims. This allows you to create a complete outfit for those who generate (or just have) a specific trait/career/job. I have one for masculine royal servants, and feminine; and, a separate one for maids you phone for a one-time, or regular job. This is VERY handy for things like High School - there's a Custodian, Teachers, Cafeteria workers, Principal etc.etc. -- and I play Victorian, so I want everyone to look Victorian, plus these specific roles should look like the job they do.
I think that's everything I wanted to go over 🤔🫠
Here's links to the separate items if you want to download those as well (not required for my hat hair file):
ZouYou's CaiWenji Servant girl PandoraSimBox's Victorian day cap MelancholyMaiden's 19th Century Snood hair (this is so good for wearing under bonnets!)
Download my Maid Hathair from my Patreon here!!!
enjoy!
