I randomly tweeted out that I wanted this cassette of the Snatcher soundtrack (old sega CD Kojima game) that they had on sale at PAX. A very nice guy called Tony offered to get it if he had the chance.... and he did! 

As thanks (and because the world needs more of this kindness) I offered to draw him something. He wanted Samus as a Destiny Guardian.

Reinterpreting a scene from the God of War 4 E3 Trailer. I’ve drawn Kratos a lot over the years as I’ve always liked his design. Seeing the shift more towards exploring his humanity and relationship with his (very green) son makes me super excited for the new game.

Couple of the moment. Obviously a play on romance novel covers. Decided to make Tormund the fawning character; firstly Brienne is taller and it worked better in composition but secondly because as of right now, she’s just not that into him.

Been experimenting with different manga styles. Although the influence of manga and western comics is already evident in my art I haven’t formally drawn in these styles before. I really needed the break from my usual projects and this was a lot of fun to try out. Now back to work!
